  1. That line just sums it up for all fans of diddy clubs when the rollercoaster is bumping along the bottom for too long.
  2. I think the phrase got coined as the 4 of them seemed to be constantly in the last 4 of the big ones at one point.
  3. Each to their own, I'd have been disappointed if I couldn't score against our defence on Saturday and I'm in as good a shape as our pitch invader.
  4. At the end of the day it's Rangers who have caused this problem because of their issues with other clubs, I hate this I'm a better supporter than you shit, I work every 2nd Saturday so the games I can get to are limited this was one of the reasons I decided to donate to the AU500 fund every month, we all love the club and wish we could go to every game but let's be honest how many folk nowadays work a Monday to Friday job? Support the club any way you can wither that's going to games, season tickets, AU500, the lottery, buying strips etc. it all helps. These issues will crop up again, I have never appreciated queuing up with OF fans in the past as if I'm just the same as them and I won't appreciate it in the future, what happens the next time if we're given 1500 tickets for a big game, 2 tickets for the 1000 or so ST holders and bugger the rest, most definitely. I've been posting similar ever since I joined.
  5. I've no problem with ST's getting 1st dibs on a ticket each, I do think anywhere that runs a bus regularly should be allowed to operate a system that ensures their most regular non-ST holders get a ticket(although Kerr isn't doing himself any favours), AU500 members, regular lottery purchasers and shop users should all be on a database that highlights whether they're ST holders or not, I'm not really interested whether folk go a few times a season or every game but it can't be that difficult to build a database that will catch most folk. It's not something I've really thought about but Sunderland bombard my email so I'm on database of theirs.
  6. No wonder, have they been running a bus for 30 years or just a few games.
  7. No it isn't, this is my 1st season ticket but I've always had a problem with how non ST holders who attend on a regular basis have the same standing as Rangers fans or fans of any other club ie no standing, how hard can it be to keep a database of those professing to be Ayr fans or handing out vouchers. If I hadn't bought a season ticket my 50 years would have less standing than someone who's just decided they're an Ayr fan due to last seasons goals. I've got a spare for anyone who's interested in PMing me, it will only be going to a name I or mine recognise.
  8. I'm not sure I'll get the chance Willie Miller' dulcet tones it is then.
  9. AUMedia on twitter usually. I would have posted it up but I'm pretty useless in that regard. Dobbie's useless and Harkins is a bawbag are all I can remember from his interview.
  10. That is not an environment that is conducive to you overcoming your other problems.
  11. That's exactly what you should be telling him.
  12. Agreed, 2 positives for me yesterday we're 1.my brother-in-law shouting me to sit up the back with him and one of our girls teams 2. being sober due to driving down, I really enjoy banter with players but I think I would have made an arse of myself when he celebrated yesterday if I'd been down the front with a bevvy in me, I don't care if he turns out to have the coaching ability of Pep, if Ayr ever employ him in any capacity again, I'll not attend until he's gone. Good luck to Queens getting to see a different Harkins but to me he is and always will be a wage thieving c**t of the highest order.
  13. Whenever I watch Zverev on a bad day he looks very weak in the mentality department.
  14. Nah, if you get pumped when 7 or 8 players turn up you worry, when 1 turns up you're getting pumped by anyone, we'd have lost to every league one side playing like today, it's the next 2 games that'll tell us where we are.
  15. We'll be fine, this team ain't getting relegated. In all honesty, I couldn't give a rats arse about finances, youth, ladies, community etc if what's on the pitch is shite, it's on the pitch that counts.
  16. I'm coming down thinking we've a great chance of a victory but I'm not expecting anything, ftr, I don't think there are genuinely many games this season where I'll be turning up near expecting 3 points, Partick was probably the nearest only because we'd just played them.
  17. Dobbie is old, a fantastic player but father time is catching up on him.
  18. Most fans would not be enamoured if he left for that sort of cash, we'll take our chances.
  19. I know what punting him for a pittance would have done, we're trying to turnaround long term regression, you don't do that by pissing of most of the fans. We've already had a great season out of Lawrence, looks like we might be getting 2, happy days.
