  1. Ach, they're all doing fine, we'll all be fine after brexit.
  2. That'll be fine if they squeeze Stranraer into the North Section.
  3. The ones I'm friendly with are nothing like that.
  4. I think Wilder' straight punches down the middle will be too much for Joshua, I don't think Joshua is ready for the level yet regardless of titles.
  5. I agree, when I was younger non-family members calling me by my proper name was taken as a put down as everyone called me by my nickname, today I couldn't care less but it wasn't appreciated then.
  6. People would rather have an articulate person telling them nothing than an inarticulate one telling them something.
  7. Hardly worth watching, it'll be back to the same old shite tonight with a large dose of man-bashing thrown in.
  8. The greats of my youth would still be the greats.
  9. That'll make the Klitschko' bigger frauds IMO.
  10. As was I in 97, I still don't remember anyone saving us from New Labour.
  11. They've not been denied as far as I know, here's a recent piece from Warren. http://www.thenationalstudent.com/Sport/2017-10-31/daniel_dubois_the_man_to_beat_anthony_joshua.html
  12. Warren will be hoping he can breeze through a dozen fights in a short space of time so he can get to Joshua before Joshua' weaknesses are exposed by someone else IMO.
  13. I don't know but I saw enough to think he could sweep the board. Frank Warren said he's waited 37 years for a boxer like Dubois, when you see his list of previous boxers he must think he's the real deal not just good enough to scrape a belt.
  14. Why should they give up, that's what we voted for that's what we should get.
  15. Did you see how significant that extra height was when Lewis fought Vitali, 60 stitches worth, he would have had no face left if it had went the distance. Lewis reigned supreme over a not so great era, the division has been rubbish since. Hopefully the boy Dubois comes up and shows them all what a proper heavyweight boxer is. Fury and Joshua should have no problem keeping Dubois at bay if they're any good and he reaches those heights as they have 7 and 4 inch reach advantage.
  16. Because he was an old man, he hadn't been beaten in a decade fighting lesser opponents. I hardly think a one inch reach advantage would give Fury much solace against the best jabber modern day heavyweight boxing has witnessed, if Chisora can give him something to think about I'm sure Lewis would have stopped him no problem.
  17. He certainly wasn't at the top of his game against Fury or Joshua, he did manage 6 World Title defences before Sanders stopped him.
  18. I've never found myself defending Wlad but he was 39 and 41 and having fights 68 and 69 when he fought those guys. Wlad lost to Puritty, Sanders and Brewster when he was at the top of his game. I wouldn't dis McCall too much as far as know he never hit the deck in his career and he dispatched Lewis in 2.
  19. I'm taking it from that piece that he thinks someone other than Joshua will be the last man standing, personally I'm hoping Warren can batter fights into Dubois as he's the 1st young heavyweight that's really excited me in about 30 years.
  20. Don't know, Lewis was one of the experts so that's one 20th place. Ring magazine done a poll of 40 experts in 1962 and it was 1. Dempsey 2. Louis 3. Johnson and 7. Marciano
  21. As voted for by 30 boxing experts.
  22. Tom English is far better than really quite good IMO.
  23. Yep, a year earlier that mentally unstable guy stopped lewis, only 2 of Bruno' fights ever went the distance.
  24. That big robot was doing more than ok against the best jabber in the game until he hit Lewis' glove with his chin
