  1. An Ayr clean sheet and Kim Jong-un holds all the aces.
  2. Brechin Falkirk double's looking promising.
  3. This Brexit thingy is turning out to be a bigger shambles than I thought, how can anyone get away with dropping their knickers and bending over the desk so readily after telling the world they'll fight like a tiger if anyone as much as flicks the elastic on their knickers.
  4. If a female showed me that much disdain I'd think she fancied me.
  5. We've had that nonsense all our lives, if the TV are looking for an alky they usually don't stray far from the Scots, on a subconscious level they've been telling us we're shite for an awful long time.
  6. I wouldn't know what it's like now, not interested in watching, that's my point.
  7. These things have been happening in boxing for as long as I can remember in boxing with no signs of change, they'll probably wait until viewer figures drop dramatically b4 they tackle it, I tend not to take records too seriously if they've been obtained mainly in Germany as it's even worse over there, how hard can it be to educate refs and judges on what's acceptable after every major fight night.
  8. I think he failed his 1st UoL exam and retreated into himself.
  9. I think they should look into a new version of their scoring.
  10. Nah, that was not a 118-110 fight in a million years regardless of how you scored it.
  11. Almost everytime I've got a look at the cards a judge gives a round to the clear loser of that round, It cost Lewis victory against Holyfield among others. I really don't understand why judges aren't carpeted when they've quite clearly given a round to the wrong boxer.
  12. I've already stated that he wasn't busy enough in some of the early rounds but I can understand him thinking he won them, he was making GGG miss with the vast majority and he was landing the better quality punches in most of those rounds, he should have made sure of the rounds when they were cheap to get.
  13. I think that's being unfair on Canelo, he was unfortunate that the judge gave him a couple of rounds that were undeserved, he's in there with the guy that's supposedly going to knock him into next week and gets booed for the size of the gap on one card, I honestly didn't think that GGG landed much in the 1st 6 rounds apart from round 4, Alvarez landed far more good punches in those rounds and showed great defensive skills that don't receive much credit.
  14. Looking back at the rerun, I couldn't give GGG more than 7 rounds and I couldn't give Alvarez more than 8 rounds, on original viewing I had it 115-113 for GGG,
  15. I don't think you could call rounds six to nine by 39-37 under any system, some of the rounds 3-5 you could give either way, IMO Alvarez misjudged those rounds as he made it easy for the judges to hand them to the man that was more active, another 20/30 seconds in each of those rounds and he'd have won the fight outright in my book, then again he might have been blowing out his arse due to expending that extra energy.
  16. There was a few decent performances b4 he came on, DDD has the punches and the power to trouble the heavyweight division if he has a chin and Yarde looked huge compared to his opponent, Reid was very entertaining, a very flashy boxer, I thought De La Hoya cruised through his big test and into world title contention on the big undercard.
  17. I thought they were both very good at taking the best that the other had, at no point in that fight dId I think GGG could drop Alvarez.
  18. It's just not in some peoples make up to do that.
  19. I agree with a lot of what she says but I don't think you could find 10 out of 12 rounds for Alvarez no matter how hard you try.
  20. I think that's just down to him being a good sportsman, can you imagine Froch in that position.
  21. I don't know how either of them could be sure their chins going to hold up, the probably know there's a good chance now but I wouldn't like to fight either with the wrong attitude.
  22. I think from a financial point of view a draw was a good result for GGG, for all his wins/belts/ko's he hasn't made a lot of cash in boxing terms, this draw will guarantee a rematch and another huge cheque.
  23. If she did we'd be saying the same things.
  24. 2 big punchers with 2 great chins.
