  1. A bit more than the 200,000 some zoomers on here predicted, good news for YES.
  2. If I was a NO politician I'd be doing whatever it takes to ensure that Scotland doesn't have another referendum, politicians are far far far more ruthless than I have ever been, they'll ensure that independence is a pipedream in the future.
  3. As someone who doesn't really care what the currency is, the rUK will do whatever it thinks will bring economic stability, if that happens to be a CU then that's what we'll get, if that's not what they perceive to be the best option for stability then we won't have one.
  4. That's the disappointing part for me, I can watch debates between relative nobodies and see YES shredding NO on the things that really matter, thank fcuk we've got thousands out turning heads on a daily basis.
  5. I must have watched the wrong debate, a poor nil nil where you go home wondering why neither side had a go.
  6. Scotland will have the £, I've not heard Salmond & Co say they'll use anything else.
  7. Because they don't seem to be inconvenienced by pegging to the dollar, people appear to be suggesting that iScotland would be required to have the same fiscal policies as rUK with a CU or pegging to the £,there are examples all over the world that prove that that's bollocks, all it does is provide any Scottish Government with parameters to work with, I think we'd survive pegging comfortably while we're in transition.
  8. Why would Scotland be dependent on rUK?
  9. Obviously the MSM don't do proof then.
  10. Yes, but when their demographics are off they don't highlight why a particular poll might be a bit misleading, last nights was a joke, 17-34,Glasgow,Fife, South/West, SNP, Other and Did Not Vote in 2011 were all up/down weighted to ridiculous amounts.
  11. Even on samples of 1000 they're unreliable if they're up/down weighting subsets significantly.
  12. Disseminating the sub sets is even more unreliable, doesn't stop Curtice and Co wanking all over anything that aids their cause.
  13. That's just twaddle, is Hong Kong dependent on America?
  14. I think this is NO's biggest failing, they all appear to think they've got it in the bag and YES need to do something dramatic to win, currency is an issue for some but it isn't really that important to people where YES are canvassing, most people grasp the fact that what currency you use doesn't matter too much if you're skint.
  15. You're an idiot if you think Darling won tonight.
  16. If it makes some voters investigate the issues then it will be a success, that's the only success that could possibly be derived from this debate.
  17. Was Edinburgh not a wonderful city and a fantastic capital?
  18. As someone who has defended the Israelis at every turn during my 48 years on this planet, I find their current actions totally abhorrent and an affront to anything nearing self defence and decency, it's like shooting someone every time they flick your ear, I feel the time has come for the UK and America to speak out vociferously against what is no more than mass slaughter. The 2 governments may wish to condemn Hamas at the same time, I don't mind that but it's like we are actually condoning it at the moment, I don't like those representing me and mine condoning that shit.
  19. How can you possibly think the vote is going to be within 4 or 5 points if there's going to be a deficit and YES have a quarter of the ABC1 vote, it doesn't compute, both those suggest YES getting a trouncing, 70-30 ain't happening I'm afraid.
  20. Believing it more and more, when more and more of your hardcore west coast flute and sash holders are turning to YES , you know something is happening.
  21. Are we taking on all the debt? Serious question.
  22. He'll not go bald unless something drastic happens.
