I really hope you do make it from a purely selfish point of view. St Mirren would benefit hugely from playing Morton four times a season again, it would also be great to see our ' derby ' getting some national attention. When was the last time both clubs were in the top flight? Certainly not in my life time. Would be fantastic if it happened. However - having seen them play twice this season - I can assure you that Morton are a long way from an SPL standard club both on and off the pitch. Obviously still plenty of time to make the necessary changes and preparations but they will need to be deeper and more widespread than most promoted clubs. This is due to the club not being in the top flight for so long, unlike the rest of the Division who have experienced it within the last 10 - 15 years or so ( Queens, Ayr and Ross County excluded ).

Falkirk resident wins Euromillions Anyone know who it is? If they were from Paisley i'd be expecting a little donation fir St Mirren I'm sure they can spare the odd million and wipe out Falkirks financial woes, the local community surely expects it. Especially since they are going public!

Gus McPherson took us from the bottom half of the first division to an established SPL club and 2 cup trips to Hampden within 4 years. Excellent appointment by Queens, the football won't be pretty but the team will be well drilled and disciplined. If the board can back him and give him some money there's no reason he can't take Queens to the top flight. I will be following your results next season, I like a lot of St Mirren fans still have a lot of time for Gus and were unhappy with the way he left us. Hope you have a great season.
