  1. Its not the BBC that are hounding Duff and Duffer - its actually Leggo and he's moving in for the kill. http://leggoland2.blogspot.co.uk/
  2. This did make me laugh though (probably first time thats happened on RM) "Drag the c**t out wie the hair.<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252); ">Apart fae the baldy 1 "
  3. Lets get one thing clear, Rangers fans are not being punished in anyway, shape or form. I hear this from many of them "why should we be punished? Its not our fault that Craig Whyte and everyone else fucked us, why should we be penalised?" Its not a punishment to watch a team that isnt as good as it was by a transfer ban. It affects fans in no way shape or form that the club have been fined and deducted ten points.
  4. This was a classic analogy from a Rangers fan this morning Craig Whyte has been caught doing 90mph in a 60 zone - it seems logical that Rangers should be banned from registering any new vehicles for a 12 month period , we can buy them but not drive them. Celtic and Dundee United issue a joint statement calling for Ibrox to be shut down in the interests of driving integrity.
  5. They seem to be under the impression that the transfer ban is a penalty for going into administration, its not the case at all and just goes to show how thick they are.
  6. Its a nice twist on whats actually happening, people waiting to renew if newco is let in will not. Thats been twisted by Traynor that they will not renew if newco is not let in. Shameful journalism.
  7. Quality musings on RM regarding the legality of the transfer ban. "It's called ageism, it's against the law just like sexism." This was posted after someone had even explained that theres nothing to stop Rangers signing players and paying them, they just cant play them.
  8. I love how googling is now called due diligence. "we did half an hour of due diligence on green and he's an interesting guy".
  9. I thought they came out of it pretty well really, other than the amount of money that they were putting in.
  10. I think the thing peepol forget regards HMRC, its not just the tax case money that needs agreeing to an a CVA, its the actual non payment of tax and this is where Rangers will ultimately come unstuck. They may have done a deal based on the EBT thing, there is next to no chance they will do one for just not paying taxes on players wages, they will take a very very dim view of this.
  11. Its now 2 days since Miller pulled out, we were told by the administrators and the media that the next 24-48 hours would be crucial if the club was to survive, im presuming we are actually no further forward. What is the obvious rush to have things done before the game on Saturday? Im sure there is some ruse that was going to be pulled by unveiling the Rangers team as the newco on Saturday so that they could get hit with a 50 point penalty or whatever and push them down to sixth (obviously they couldnt go any further as 7th cant finish ahead of 6th even it if it has more points). I will feel a bit more comfortable once Saturday's game has finished and things are still the same.
  12. Theres no way Whyte will sell his shares for a quid with ticketus hanging over him and theres also no way that if he's given personal guarantees to ticketus that he can transfer the debt. Who in their right might would pay the ticketus money for his shares, that would be nearly 50m in total then for the club and a few months running expenses.
  13. Duff and Phelps were caught lying last week with the whole HMRC and the SPL assurances when no such assurances were given, how many other lies have they been caught up in? They just say what they want really and hope that people believe them.
  14. Naismith wouldnt commit there to saying he would transfer his contract with a newco - translation, he wouldnt.
  15. It is for the people already in possession of the company. Its not the same when its people who were not connected with the company creating a new company and is pretty common place in business.
  16. I imagine the club that would benefit most would be Celtic themselves, gloryhunters arent going to accept being bottom feeders like Motherwell/Hearts/St Mirren/whoever, they will want success. More fans will change from Rangers to Celtic than any other club imo.
