3 goals disallowed for Dumbarton today. I'd be sick to my stomach if I were a Dumbarton fan tonight. Both teams were poor but I felt we were just marginally the better team overall. Wouldn't have been surprised if it ended 2-2, so I'm absolutely delighted with to get the 3 points today, especially with Partick Thistle away next.

Was thinking the exact same thing recently. The issue is, despite LB being his natural position, I don't think Higgins has the engine/pace to play full back at this level anymore. I'd like to see Dunsmore move back to the right back position and move Murdoch into the centre midfield to see how that would work out. Think we're far too light weight in the middle of the park.

Personally, won't be paying £13.99 to watch this. But anyway, 90% certain this will end with a win for the hosts. I think we're still a long, long way off from fulfilling our potential with the squad of players we have. And I'm not yet convinced that Darren Young knows what his strongest starting XI is, which is alarming given we've kept more or less the same squad as we had last season. Our biggest weakness is the back line and centre midfield where we are so easily beaten. Thank goodness for Hamilton who always looks a real threat up front. Swanson struggling to hit the ground running so far.

I actually think both Craig Watson and Danny Denholm have done a reasonable job of making Darren Young re-think his centre-back pairing options and wingers. If it's a 4-4-2, I'd like to see; Long Murdoch Dunlop Watson Slattery Swanson Davidson Agnew Denholm Wallace Hamilton

Just saying, but I think EFtv need to vastly improve their live streaming quality to justify the £10 price tag. In all honesty, I wasn't encouraged from the pre-season trials at all. Zooming in and out at the wrong time, commentating out of sync etc. Last thing the club needs are people demanding refunds.

Won't be having any of the "ah well, it's only a meaningless friendly" patter. Whichever way you look at it, that's a dreadful result. Fair play to Braves though. Got stuck in from beginning to end and got their deserved win. The chunky sized hat trick hero for Braves played a blinder tonight. Biggest thing to take from the match for me, was just how much the EF players could have learnt a thing or two from Braves on how to close down opposing players outside the 18 yard box. Very poor and incredibly lazy. Hope Darren sorts this out before Tuesday.
