Prevue of some more Xmas items first draft. These are power banks to recharge your mobile ultra slim 2600mAh with a 2 year guarantee. The t come boxed with charging lead and adaptors for mirco USB, lighting (iPhone) and latest Samsung adaptor. As well as mobile can chare tablets such as I pad and Bluetooth headphones/speaker etc. Thoughts? Working on prices and final design.
I like the Bluebell idea although the club badge should be the new badge with the bit on top.
The one with Gilfillan - should we really be celebrating finishing bottom of League 2 for two seasons in a row?1 -

See Greg Spence not been getting a game at Alloa. Looking to get away to somewhere he can play in January.
Really enjoyed his time with us previously.
He'll go where the money is. That's all he cares about.

CFT says what I thought at the time - Deas scored the first goal. Announcer and Sky Sports probs because of that said it was Marsh
It was definitely Deas that scored. I think Jim (the announcer and the guy who writes the report for the CFT) was the only one who thought it was Marsh. His tannoy announcement is probably what caused all the other sites to get it wrong too.

A part of me wonders if Swann isn't the hardest working guy in training? Would be the only logical explanation as to why he can't even make the bench.
He'll get his chance at some point this season.
Is Swann maybe injured?

One for Cowden Cowboy - have we had a trialist sent off before? When was the last one?
Can you appeal a trialist's sending off? Obviously it would only be worth it if you were going to sign him but is it possible?

This is what I said in the match thread for Saturday. Who'd have thought that the defensive issues would be highlighted again? Not playing Malcolm also is a huge mistake.
Let's look at our defence so far this league season. These are the 4 players that I think have started each game:
Clyde - 0-2 - Mullen, Marsh, Pyper, Talbot
Annan - 1-2 - Mullen, Marsh, Gilfillan, Swann
Berwick - 4-0 - Mullen, Scullion, Marsh, Swann
Queens Park - 0-0 - Mullen, Marsh, Scullion, Talbot
Peterhead - 2-4 - Mullen, Pyper, Marsh, Talbot
Albion - 1-1 - Mullen, Pyper, Scullion, Deas
Edinburgh - 0-1 - Mullen, Pyper, Marsh, DeasWe've not played the same back 4 in back to back league games this season No wonder we're such a shambles at the back. Pick what the best 4 is Gary and stick with it.
Looks like the key is Scullion - unbeaten with him in the team...

If only we still had Gilfillan!
To play at left back?

McGurn was superb again today - if it wasn't for him, Rovers got have scored three or four.
I assume the Bollan's starting line up was to show the players that no ones place is safe and everyone is replaceable. If so, he is wrong. Deas had an absolutely nightmare at left back and I can't blame him because he was being played out of position. He was positionally all over the place - didn't know when he should be going and when he should be staying back. Talbot needs to come back in next week and Deas moved into the middle in place of Scullion. I like to see Martin Scott played further back because he's certainly not a number 10.
Once the three subs were on, it looked as if only one team was going to win the game. If we're got a winner though, it was have been massively unfair on Rovers who deserved their point.0 -

Aye the striker who played for Montrose for years is at Inverurie or Formartine now. This Gary Fraser is a midfielder.
Too many Gary Frasers who have played for Forfar.

Was he not at Forfar?
Yes.
He's been at Montrose for the last couple of seasons. Was sent off against us for celebrating scoring a last minute penalty.0 -

How you lot feeling about the next match, v. Albion Rovers? Any chance of becoming the first team to drop points against them?
We're Cowdenbeath. We're willing to help out any team needing a win, any striker needing a goal, any manager needing a result.

As much as Falkingham was an arse hole he did provide that wonderful f**k up for our 3rd goal at East End on that great day. Will always remember him for that.
I really enjoyed Colin Cameron running about kicking him when he was our manager. He really understood the supporter's hate of Falkingham.

Kenny Milne and Holmes from Hearts were good as was Murdoch from Rangers.
Gordon Smith as well - if he and Murdoch stayed, we wouldn't have got relegated.

That’s pretty harsh on the worst three. Steven Weir blows them out of the water - absolutely useless.
Craig Gordon is probably the ‘best’ in his 15 games or so but Hemmings much more important. Dene Sheilds was also class on loan before we signed him.
I don't remember Steven Weir - I've probably tried to wipe him out of my memory. The other three won't be the worst but because they are more recent, they are fresher in the mind.

Best : Craig Moore, Kane Hemmings, Darren Brownlie
Worst : David Gold, Kieran Gibbons, Declan Hughes0 -

There can be no reason why this game cannot be played during the international break. Gravelgate is now history and some common sense is called for. I’m sure it would suit both clubs to get this game on ASAP. There is a perfectly easy solution. Play the game on the 8th of September.
I'd rather wait until Sheerin is back from international duty.

Kyle Alison signed for Berwick from Pencuik recently and has been sitting on the bench as a signed player.
I'm not sure how it's possible though.
