  1. I’ve seen ICT home games at Telford St Park, Caley Stadium, Pittodrie and Tannadice. Pity I missed the cup tie they played at Dingwall v St Johnstone.
  2. No, but their bovril tasted a bit fishy. That’s plenty.
  3. Though I’m not a big groundhopper, as I try to watch my two clubs as much as possible, I do use the groundhopper app by Kepermat, and recommend it if you’re not already using it. Being an auld git, I have been to a fair number of grounds anyway, and this was helped by ICT starting at the bottom in 1994.
  4. The bottom of the prem was pretty dramatic too, as Ross County looked like scraping 11th till Partick took the lead at Dens on the hour mark, consigning County to derby games against their big neighbours next season
  5. Being a bit of a Groundhopper I suspect you were there. I was there too and blogged about it. After visiting Millport and treating the missus to a meal at Nardini’s I treated myself to a goalless draw where Tucker Sloan started himself for Talbot
  6. Glad somebody noticed this. Right out of the TJ book of propaganda. Btw Tweedmouth were only charging £3 the day I went.
  7. Aye, featuring your good micturating self Tam, in full flow.
  8. I’ve just got this. Steve very generously sent me a copy as I gave him 2 images to use. I’ve only seen one or two of the images before, like the one of the half finished stand at Tannadice with the people sitting in it Excellent book and well designed, over 250pp. Amazon have it at £15.99 for the hardback although there’s no retail price on the actual book.
  9. Cheers buddy Am I no allowed a few sherbets on a Friday night Said Brett was decent, I meant the clubs were struggling no the players. Sorry @Cowdenbeath All about opinions though.
  10. I’m a big admirer of the Rose but let’s no get carried away Unless you mean league 2... Deano #1 got about 60 games for Berwick. Deano #2 had a decent career at Cowden. Both perennial lge 2 strugglers. The rest of the squad have no significant senior experience afaik. Big Kieran is never going to score goals at league level, even Wayno at his peak couldn’t do it on the big occasion. And yes, I know you deservedly beat Dumbarton...
  11. I’ve made the big time and got a stalker. Mair reddies from Tutankhamen in one day than I’ve had in 9 years
  12. What big boys have Auchinleck triumphed against?
  13. Yeah it's fun shouting at Collum or Finnie when there's only 150 or so there
  14. An even more extreme example. One team is given a bye right into the Scottish Cup Final. The other 100-odd clubs play for the other place. Is that fair and equal? And one more chance for the cowboy to earn his spurs: You toss two coins. You can bet on two heads, two tails, or one of each. 3 outcomes, 33% each, right?
  15. 4 possible outcomes each with equal probability or 3 outcomes not all equal. you can’t quote a percentage then say “the odds are a different thing”
  16. Yeah we had that discussion over on CaleyThistleOnline a few weeks ago. Same as here, some people needed the maths explained to them
  17. Yeah I'm just spelling out the details for him The coin simulation is good too. Just repeat the experiment say 20 times and team 42 will win about 10 times.
  18. Jeez, I'm not a betting man but even I can see getting a bye into the final is not 1 in 3 Even assuming all teams are equal in ability: Pr (Team 42 wins) = 1/2 Pr(LL team wins) = 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4. Pr (HL team wins) = 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4. You can prove it to yourself by running a simulation with tossing a coin.
  19. Good shots. Did those two Munros away back in the day, in October. Walked in to the bothy at Bearnais at night, crossed the wire bridge at Achnashellach with head torches, stags roaring all over the place.
  20. Guy goes to the library and asks if they have any books on suicide. Clerk says “f**k off, you won’t bring it back.”
