Watching Ayr lose at home to a supposedly out of form Inverness. Truly one of life's great pleasures

gets in positions where he should score but a poor finisher.
Probably the most accurate sentence your database has ever produced haha.

Has he resigned yet?
Surely we will at least put up a wee bit of a fight.

2 worst strikers and 2 worst full backs in the league this season. And a shite view if you go. Between us and Arbroath for 9th / 10th

Special mention for Captain Fantastic tonight, what a fucking shitshow you produced.
Nice quote after game about Ayr's opener "yeah it's a nice delivery from the boy but don't know if we were too deep or whatever". When "the boy" is your former team mate as of a few weeks ago then surely you have a rough idea where the balls coming and how good it might be. Made it sound like some non league jobber had caught you out.

First ive seen us this season - full backs being absolutely destroyed but we all know that's going to happen most games this season whatever combination we choose so hardly even worth mentioning.
Positives - after a shocking first 5 we've kept possession quite well, Murphy looks very good on the ball, and Amartey looks a lot better than I'd expected based on folks descriptions so far - defo looks an upgrade on JML or D O'C on that albeit very short showing.

Hoping or happening?
Hopefully happening although thought it might have happened today. So who knows. The McGeady one was spot on so fairly confident.

Aye but what’s his opinion on Aiden McGeady?
I've been too busy deleting my past tweets about McGeady posted with my Scotland fan goggles on years ago to ask haha.

New striker signed / signing tomorrow, from down south with a decent scoring record lower level.

Not being Lionel Messi.
The section of our support that is made up of old guys pick on any young players coming through. Alan Forrest got it, Craig McGuffie got it and Crawford got it. You can see the same folk picking on the likes of Mark McKenzie and Fraser Bryden.
He used to get abuse for being a shitebag ie being a midfielder that didn't just kick folk.
Very good point though - most clubs fans are that desperate for a youth academy player to come through that they tend to over rate them- we are the exact opposite

That would have been remembered as one of the absolute great Ayr United goals. It was a brilliant run.
Always thought he was underrated for us. Good reliable midfielder.
100%. Crawford will be one of the better midfielders in the league this season IMO and its annoying he plays for one our fellow possible bottom half sides.

He's been a revelation for us since signing and has started this league Cup campaign very well. Easily one of our most important players.
Never seemed to get injured either from what I can remember which bodes well for you too. Was one Jamie MacDonald save in a Derby away from going down as a proper legend.

Robbie Crawford being the experienced goalscoring centre midfielder who's great at driving forward with the ball that we miss is really annoying TBH.

Dundee Utd lose again and make 5 subs and Logan Chalmers doesn't get on. 15 mins and 0 mins. Bring him home

The Q&A's are pointless IMO - much rather have a regular set of structured updates.
The last few replies sum it up - it's absolutely pointless and has zero benefit getting the manager in and asking questions on opinions on specific players. He's either going to say he doesn't rate them, be non commital, or even over talk them up to try and sound supportive. None of which are any benefit to anyone

Sorry, we’ve decided that O’Halloran is crap on the basis that he’s signed for someone else.
You've decided that Murphy isn't better than him because he's signed for us

My old man is there and seems really impressed by Watret

There always seems to be a wee bit kept back for the market that starts to open up towards end of August where folk under contract at bigger clubs realise they aren't going to get a game so start looking for loan / permanent moves down a bit.

All of them cursed.
I'll admit I was following that game more than usual just to see how the big fella from Tik Tok / Twitter got on

So it’s St Mirren today with some trialists fielded . It’s not just us though I read that Thistle had six or seven of them yesterday!
Morton had 7 last night as well.

I think Amartey will get 10+ league goals.

Theres absolutely no dressing it up the guy is quite clearly frustrated. Have to remember though this means a lot more than to you or I. He has a kid that’s only a toddler that he will want to watch grow up. I draw the line at him causing bother in the dressing room or not trying in games which he has shown absolutely no sign of doing.
I’d love him to stay but for his own sake I personally want him to get his move to England after the season he’s just gave us.
There's a lot of folk who can / choose not to earn a lot more money if they left their partner / kid for a couple of years. Loads choose not to.
In his defence I think his partner and kid maybe did come up and didn't like it and moved back home - got told that around Xmas but don't know for sure if it's true. He maybe assumed they were here for the full thing if that is correct.
Will have no sympathy whatsoever I'd the Twitter rumours are true and he signs for Dundee Utd though

Go and watch him at training and see if he looks unhappy or does not put in 100%, players wanting away tend to slow down and look uninterested
He's not stupid. If he doesn't keep himself fit he won't be showing up well when he does get his move. Which ironically is why I wouldn't have any worries about him not trying if we did just keep him.

That starting XI would be in the bottom half of League 1
We are absolutely fucked this season
