  1. Most likely just a puppy thing, the grey Frenchie in the photo in my previous post was a nightmare when he was a puppy but eventually calmed down. Maybe get Kong toy that you can fill with treats or hide treats throughout your living room, this will give him a bit of mental stimulation and potentially expend a bit of that extra energy, basically the dogs nose rules their brain.
  2. A snapshot of my week, overwhelmed by the support our company has received from our clients this week, most are working from home, almost everyone is continuing with daily walks, some have even said they will continue to support us financially even if they need to withdraw their dog due to self quarantine. I'm usually quite pessimistic so it's been a pleasant surprise how much support we've received from our clients, i feared the worst at the start of the week.
  3. Massive queues outside the coffeeshops last night when it was announced everything was closing, I'm sure someone here will make a fortune while stocks last, it's going to be like The Wire.
  4. Absolutely not, been here for many years and you can tell the real dealers from the guys with crushed up paracetamol plus I've not had any chemicals for a long long time. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out when everyone starts running out of weed.
  5. I had to drop off a set of keys today with a colleague that lives in Amsterdam's red light district, no hookers to be seen but some guy did ask if i wanted some charlie.
  6. Same here, i've felt my anxiety levels and ocd rising up a few notches, normally playing football twice a week is my therapy but thats stopped for the time being, my old mum isn't the healthiest its certainly having an impact on my mental health, living abroad at times like these is difficult. Luckily i work outside and that is helping for now but who knows what's around the corner. Hang in there mate.
  7. Lovely sunny day here in Amsterdam, pretty much everything is shut and folk are supposed to be working from home and have been told to try and keep a few meters distance from each other, are they listening? Nope the parks are full, folk are treating it like its a holiday.
  8. The Netherlands going into lock down, all schools, bars, restaurants, coffeeshops, sport schools all closing till 6th April.
  9. If he was working last night, he did a grand job! Yeah he was on the mixing desk, saw a couple of photos taken from his viewpoint, would love to see From Scotland with Love live, i'll make do with the dvd.
  10. It's getting serious here in Amsterdam, the normally relaxed Dutch have started panic buying toilet paper and dried pasta, we're all doomed.
  11. I love King Creosote only managed to see him live once in Groningen and that was years ago, 2006 i think. My mate has been his sound tech on this recent tour.
  12. When I first saw it I thought it was a piss take and having watched an episode I'm still not sure, during the impending lock down I will be checking out mad mikes podcast.
  13. And The Vanilla Ice Project is the best home improvement and real estate flipping show of modern times, nice nice landscaping yo.
  14. I've had quite a few cancellations this week due to people working from home, more chance the dogs catching something from me The Dutch government response up until yesterday was very relaxed as you'd expect, most cases are in Utrecht and Brabant provinces.
  15. Shits getting real in Amsterdam, my 6 a side league has been suspended till further notice. The Dutch PM announced a ban on events with 100 or more attendees.
  16. Future Sound of London were so influential a country was named after one of their songs.

  18. Popped into my favourite shop in Amsterdam this morning - Concerto, great shop, i could spend hours in there.
  19. Same here, I had no idea it had closed never mind it had been demolished, mind you it's been 20 years since I last lived in Ayrshire. Used to be a regular at the pool, did my best not to get battered at the ice skating disco, played fives many times, saw Scotland V Denmark play each other at badminton, even saw Fun Loving Criminals in concert as well as Oasis at the beach park, bumped into Christian Dailly at the Oasis gig. The elevated walkway entrance felt like the future had arrived, might have to take a little drive down that way next time i'm over.
  20. Whenever i hear the coronavirus mentioned all i can think of is Dr Mantis Toboggan.
  21. Dreamies are called Catisfactions over here.
