I haven't seen that in years! Even in the Netherlands, is it as good as I think it is? I can't recall the taste. Not seen it in NL for ages apparently its not sold here anymore, they moved production to the Dommelsch plant in Belgium.

I remember hearing this exact same thing from Bruno Brookes.

It's one of my favourites, I've never had it on tap, you need to be careful when pouring it from the bottle as there is a layer of yeasty sediment at the bottom of the bottle, luckily the bar where i drink it pours it for you. Its like a whole new experience drinking in a bar again.

I've often wondered about The Brentmeister's career path, obviously at some point he was a reliable, hard working employee otherwise he wouldn't have made it to the position of manager and appeared on the cover of Inside Paper. What caused his downfall? I get the feeling it started long before the camera's arrived to make the documentary. Personality i see him as being a bit of a harmless arse kisser who just wanted to be liked and climbed the corporate ladder but there must've been someone or something that led him to believe his own hype, of course it could be the case that he was always a bit full of himself and he became oblivious to it all and the appearance of a documentary team pushed him over the edge.

I'm really sorry to hear that mate, it's amazing how strong a bond you can build with a pet, working as a dog walker and pet sitter I've had to say goodbye too many times in the last few years, the way i approach it (after floods of tears) is to focus on having that bond and being thankful you were able to share your time with them, it's better to have had that bond for a short time than not at all, cats are awesome.

During the moment of silence before the Real Madrid v Eibar game yesterday they were playing Ennio Morricone, was quite surreal, wasn't really a moment of silence but always good to hear some Ennio.

Happy Dyer has been appointed, heard a few folk moaning about AD being given the gig but realistically who else could we have got? I don't think taking another leap into the unknown would've been a wise decision.

What a lovely way to spend a Saturday evening, I've seen those documentaries before but to be honest I could watch them eternally on a loop such is my love and admiration for the guy. The parts of the Last 5 years with the musicians playing the music from The Next Day and Blackstar with Tony Visconti breaking it down at his mixing desk are fantastic, Blackstar in particular is an incredible album, what a wonderful parting gift, i'm about to put it on and sit back and revel in its brilliance. Thanks Dave.

I hope Burkey keeps 29 as his shirt number as it reminds me of Pasca, two of my favourite players from recent seasons. However if he has a new number that's also fine because he's such an amazing player and a good guy. Getting excited now.
