  1. It isn't that I am mad I am very disappointed in the higherarchy of the club in regards to this deal. I'm sure everyone is hurting right now. We bleed this club and support our chairman through thick and thin but to feed us all that bull crap about ambitious and then sell one of our prized assets at the 11th hour is not excusable in my eyes!

Don't feed us that fking shitpre season and just be honest!

  2. We have no reason to be selling Tait unless we have financial difficulties or we are offered a package we cannot turn down!

If it is neither then Sim has a lot to answer for and I'd expect the fan base will make them fully aware with their feet which is a worrying scenario!

What the fk were they talking about a couple of bloody months ago?? Have they lost the plot??

  3. Attack was awesome but we need to tighten up at the other side. Snow is the kinda player that doesn't do any the fancy stuff just mops up, out muscles and passes. He is more of a Stuart Mcall kinda player. Hopefully that can protect the back line and Tait can push forward with the wingers and wing backs. Matthews on the bench for me as I wouldn't want to rush him to much. Maybe bring him on around the 65 min mark to replace Snow.

If snow and arnott aren't good enough to slot in to this formation then it was daft to sign and keep them around right now. It's a variation of this formation that we've been using for the majority of the past two seasons. I have a feeling Matthews might start tomorrow anyway so hopefully that will solve the problem.

We have only had 1 league game and Snow still isn't 100% fit. The time will come for these guys I have no doubt!

Excellent performance this evening. Doddsball looks very promising indeed.

Nice to see Raith Rovers fans are infact just bitter and Duku isn’t lazy at all. He looks like a class signing who will score goals for us. Was very surprised how good he looked with the ball at his feet.

Our midfield looks stacked, both centrally and out wide. The quality of depth has improved which bodes very well for the season ahead. Add McDonald and Mckay to the mix and we’ll have competition for places all over the park.

Not getting carried away after a performance against a League One side however I think it’s abundantly clear HMS piss the league has this evening set sail.

I look forward to following on from this conversation in a few months 👍🤣

  6. Macdonald - solid as always. Very commanding at the back even though he didn't have much to do

Tumilty - I believe he is the best RB in the championship. Some great crossfield passes and bombed up and down the flank. What an engine!

Dick - Comfortable at the back and did get forward on occasion.

Berra - Commanding, strong and his experience shown through. Reads the game so well and is some size of a unit!

Benedictus - Composed as always, good range of passing. Played like a captain.

Connolly - I thought he had a pretty decent game, linked up well with Poplat and had a couple decent chances.

Zanatta - So he doesn't shy away from the ball and was very busy on the wing. I don't know if we are expecting too much from him but I just feel he could do more but played OK.

Tait - He had a quieter day, tried a few darting runs but nothing really came off.

Spencer - Comfortable in midfield and Composed.

Vaughan - Don't know how many times we say this but his quality is beyond championship level. Some great skill on the ball and what a cracking finish for the goal. 100% our Talisman.

Poplatnik - Some nice touches on the ball but it was a quiet afternoon.

All in all the team sprayed passes around the park. They were composed throughout and I'm pretty content with our defence. In my opinion we need to sign  at least a holding midfielder, target man and a left winger.

Good to here, so will we see Keatings for Vaughan at 62, or Mitchell for Poplatnik, or Keatings for Poplatnik? Have a feeling that Vaughan and Keatings may be, as some said, a bit similar.

Vaughan as always is controlling the game and the real quality on the park. The passing is ok from Raith but I gotta be honest we do look a shadow of the team from last season atm. We need a holding midfielder. Tait has struggled to get a foothold on the game and hasn't been himself.
