Players will have the virus. Cannae be expected to play a contact sport imo.
Postpone the games, take the time to work up an extraordinary schedule for May or June, whatever, and advance some prize money and season tickets as best possible.

Baird off MacLean is a better option than Baird leading the line but I'd want Dingwall in too. Who knows what JMcG will do as a) he could want more tall players in to deal with all the set pieces and throws and b) if MacLean's ready to play it could change a lot about the approach. Quite optimistic about the game for some reason. A win would be golden, but a loss also extra damaging which is probably the mark of a HUGE GAME

Mostly the young team - but not just them - have on several occasions have sung a racist stereotypical chant about Mendy (the one about a cock being massive, of course).
I’m not saying they are racists. I think they are ignorant.
But this chant has to stop. Right now.I’ve tried several times to shout it down and - disappointingly - not many other rovers fans have joined me.
It’s embarrassing and a fucking disgrace. I feel so sorry for Mendy and the black players playing for Livingston and anyone else who is effected. Disgusting.
I know that the Raith TV boys read this, please pass this on to the club and get this publicly stopped. Again, I don’t think it’s based on hatred. It’s ignorance. So call this out, educate and stop it now.
For anyone in the away end. If it starts again. Boo it down immediately. If you don’t, you are condoning it.
Fair play for being willing to post this. It's probably a losing battle but you're spot on.

Was Andy Walker on loan to us as well? I hated him too but he hated and still hates us I'm sure

Quiet thread for a fairly big date on the calendar...
Hoping we can shitfest the first half away and engineer a bit of tension and drama in the second.
Predict 2 0 ht 3 0 ft though

If that was the Raith number 22 then aye it prob was, watching him against Buchanan from the SS he was doing his damdest to get Buchanan a booking or at least sent off.
Raith 22 should have been in the book in the first half for either persistent fouling or persistent diving take your pick. Waste of time the ref saying to him he was watching him as he done f**k all about him most of the game.
Rattled by a 17 year old wheyyy

Falkirk -1.0 asian is 2.1 at 365. They're not in the greatest shape themselves but their visitors are really threadbare and already managed just 3 or 4 shots on target in the last MONTH. There have been clean sheets but today we're without Miller (rb) Steven Anderson (cb) Ian Davidson (cb) Ross Matthews (cm) Regan Hendry (cm) Daniel Armstrong (winger) Joao Victoria and obv Lewis Vaughan (fwd) - and I probably missed some.
We still have forward options but the defence is really going to toil and there's not much a presence at the back of midfield.
Less certain but value: home team >2.5 5/2

However the two handed save by the Raith defender at the end merited a penalty.
Can't wait to celebrate that in the highlights

I'm sad to hear that about Martin Harvey. Never seemed the kind of guy for the limelight and I could be wrong but I don't think I've ever heard a lot from or about him. Undoubtedly a huge part of our golden era and I hope we hear a bit more about his contribution over the coming days.

The cup is back. Any treasure in the markets?
Will Thistle (no), Morton (yes) or Falkirk (lol) beat the handicap?
Tbh this is usually the best set of betting fixtures of the season, but seems like slim pickings to me.

Not a player for Falkirk but I remember seeing Marvin Andrews play for Raith against Falkirk, not sure if it was his debut but I thought he was the worst footballer I'd ever seen I was laughing at him.
He was extremely raw - it is truly amazing he had the career he did. In those early days I remember seeing him struggle to do 8 keepy-ups and then the passing drills in the warmup would just break down when he got the front of the queue.
Hats off to him for having the attitude and commitment to get so much better and to go so high in the game.

Dunno if I've posted this already but it does seem certain that fans will have to bail their clubs out.
Each club's exposure should be fairly proportionate to the financial cloud of their fanbase, you'd think...
Anyway if the first point is true then I hope fans collectively are sensible and get some equity in their clubs in return. Not that I would want all good will between clubs and fans to be eroded by any means, but even with the club's interests at heart I think supporters trusts should be coordinating any find raising / bailouts.
