  1. Can't count! Scored twice in the league, once in a cup..
  2. Indeed Annan. Started as a youth with Sevco then to Raith then Annan. Scored 4 times for Annan this season in the league.
  3. Aye, I'm sure he's a nice guy but it's disappointing that he used us to give him one last run out despite being clearly out of shape. I'd quite happily keep him as a coach, or manager...
  4. ^^^^^^ This ^^^^ Or indeed give one of the youngsters more than 5 minutes on the pitch. I know Mcleish gives 100% every game, but there has to be a bit more than that; some end product, and a foil for Shane. Chris is not that player.
  5. I do enjoy listening to it when travelling to/from away games. Hardly ever bother when at home. Might not be fantastic but shudder to think what the alternative would be. The show when Stuart and Tam were away with Kat Harvey and Chic Young was toe-curlingly bad.
  6. Half the problem is that a lot of "supporters" get most of their footballing knowledge from watching EPL games on Sky and BT, with the added bonus of "expert" analysis from "expert" pundits. Far too much pressure is put on League 2 players. They are playing in League 2 for a very good reason...
  7. I have to say the pictures on the Northern Scot website the pitch looks horrific, surely the club didn't think they could play on it. There has been plenty dust kicked up on the last couple of ho me games, but they look sizeable pieces of gravel.. rip legs to pieces.
  8. I still think there is no excuse for this. Surely they have been watering the pitch. Disgraceful if not.
  9. I just can't get my head round this.. the pitch has been a bit dry and bumpy recently due to lack of rain... but gravel?! Gutted as I've just rushed up from Glasgow to get home for the game...
  10. Looks like a piece of pie casing has come off and fallen into the filling during construction.. I take it is pastry-like..
  11. U21s all doing well. Not often I say this; Come on Clyde!
  12. I think our latest - James McGowan is the same lad that played for Albion Rovers and Queen of the South. Edited to add; I think we had 5 local lads in the squad last Saturday too..
  13. Happy Birthday to us. 125 today. http://www.elgincity.net/?p=8786
  14. Stephen Bronsky confirmed to have a broken ankle after Saturday's game. All going well so far - three fairly long-term injuries, already.
  15. ..and turns out Idles were supporting Future Islands. Not the obvious choice as support, but wow! Made for an excellent gig.
  16. Future Islands tonight in Inverness, and David Byrne at the RCH on Friday... and All Day Fest at Oran Mor next weekend. Can't wait.
  17. I agree. I thought he was more than capable of stepping up a level..I'm not really sure Forfar are up a level.
  18. Thomas Reilly off to join Jim Weir at Forfar...
  19. Four Non Blondes supporting Prince. Horrific!
  20. I avoid Ticketmaster if at all possible. Unfortunately they are sometimes the only option. It's the "£3.50 print at home" option which really pisses me off. My ink, my paper, my feckin everything... Their "Best available" is often just that - the best they have.. stuck across in seat A1 somewhere around the back of the curtain..
  21. Went to see Joan as Policewoman in The Old Fruitmarket on Tuesday night. Great gig, in a fanatstic wee venue (that I didn't even know existed!)
  22. Paloma Faith in Aberdeen last Monday which was really good, despite being in the AECC.. Tickets for The Smith Street Band in Stereo purchased today.
  23. David Byrne at the GRCH in June.. a bit of a faff getting tickets - AXS and Ticketmaster sold out in seconds. Managed to get them direct from the Concert Hall. Alvvays, Paloma Faith, Belle and Sebastian and Future Islands to come this year, so far...
