I did notice that they appeared to be guaranteed at least 4th, but wasn't sure what the tiebreak rules were if they lost tomorrow and ended up with the same record as Sweden. Iirc from previous games the places are decided by world ranking if they are tied. Can only think it's still the same as Canada are second but haven't yet qualified. That was a huge shock them losing to Australia.

Canada currently playing an extra end against Australia after coming back from 6-0 down to draw 8-8. GB lost, a win against the USA tomorrow puts them into the knockout stages.

GB losing to Norway, haven't played well at all in this game. 4 down playing the last end.

A 6-5 win for GB without having to play the last stone after the Chinese lass knocked her own stone out.

GB started badly against China and were 4-1 down at halfway. They used their powerplay on end 5 and took a 3 to level it, then stole 1 on the Chinese powerplay to go in front. China just took 1 on end 7 to level it at 5-5, so GB have the hammer in the decider.

Was just thinking that the only thing that could have improved today would have been Inverdale crying in the studio. Then I remembered that he works for the RFU these days, so his pain might be even worse than usual.

Definitely a lot of truth in that. Respect has to be earned, and in the professional era our record against the Irish is dreadful. I just hope that we can focus on the job in hand next week. We've shat the bed repeatedly in Cardiff, and should have blown them away last year but ill discipline cost us.
