  1. Defo, God knows what weather radar they were watching.
  2. Bet 365 have given me a free fiver bet. Singles only ffs.
  3. Something like 8-4 to the Americans from that I'm afraid.
  4. Purely on world rankings, this is the best they have ever been in comparison to the Europeans since rankings began. Europe have almost always got the better of them in pairs, and in foursomes especially, but they have also never played a Ryder Cup with so many players in the team out of form.
  5. Don't think so tbh, they've just been outgunned by a better team. Rahm is no 1 on the OWGR, Hovland is 14th, 10 of the US team are in between them. There were a lot of players I feared for coming into this and sadly it's turned out be well founded. Hovland has been a disappointment tbh, thought he would have played much better than he has done. I'm not surprised at Poulter, Fitzpatrick, Rory and Westwood playing poorly, it's what they have been doing most of the year. Talking on Sky about top loading the singles. After Rahm, Garcia and Lowry (and maybe Hatton?), who goes next?
  6. I'm bemused that so many players have been short right on 17 wherever the flag has been. O know you don't want to go long or left bit some of them have been 10-15 yards short of the front edge of the green.
  7. Poulter has seen more bunkers than Hitler today, that was a beauty tbf.
  8. I was 50/50. He has played very well at Ryder Cups before with no form going into them, but I did think this could be one too many for him.
  9. I do have a chuckle at Sky trying to convince us this isn't done as a contest. Even if it was 10-6 going into tomorrow, there's no way Europe are winning the singles 8-4 with so many players playing utterly shite.
  10. As much as I despise Brandel Chamblee, he is spot on with this. Officials shat it today with Brooks and Berger.
  11. That's an unfortunate 360 for Speith.
  12. And Fleetwood is short of the green too after his.
  13. Sadly all the posters that thought that this would be a Ryder Cup too many for Poulter have been proved right. Didn't realise he had relied on Captain's picks so many times. I would have hoped that Rory might have shown some improvement through working with Pete Cowen by now, but he has shown nothing bar the odd low round here and there.
  14. Every single time McGinley says "this shot will suit (insert European player here)", they proceed to make a rip roaring c**t of it.
  15. Bob not even bothering his arse watching this afternoon.
  16. I genuinely think I could have hit more fairways than Hatton today.
  17. There have been huge differences in the relative world rankings of the teams before, but as I posted further up, Europe have nullified that by turning up and playing their very best stuff. Be lucky if even 3 or 4 players have managed that so far this year for more than a few holes at a time. Saw this earlier in the week.
  18. Scotland's women beat Ireland 20-18 to qualify for the final qualifying tourney for the RWC.
  19. Chance for the rookies to win the 17th and take it up the last.
  20. You are Paul McGinley and I claim my prize.
  21. I'd rather Westwood hammer that putt 3ft past the hole than leave it woefully short.
  22. So Sky have sent McGinley to Coventry. Wish they would do it properly though rather than still give him airtime.
  23. Got in from the football, turn on the TV, see Hatton missing a short par putt to hand the US a hole.
