    Sometimes Sky's coverage baffles me. They always crow about how they show the Open live all day, yet on a normal weekend they don't start live coverage until 1pm, and in the case of the Dunhill they stop at 5pm.

    Watched the Seve documentary, I've got a Samsung TV and it turned out the Rakuten TV app was already on it and I could watch it without registering Very good watch, even two Yanks who I hated in Azinger and Lehman came across well. Biggest surprise though was Langer of all people booting me right in the feels. Some b*****d cutting onions near me a few times.

    Big blow for the Jaguars early in the game. Went ahead just before the end of the 1st quarter, currently Jags lead 7-0. Neither offense setting the heather on fire so far, although the Jags have at least managed to run the ball a bit, which the Bengals have been really poor at.

    Test Protect now causing panic by sending a text that initially looks like you have been a close contact, but is actually just a follow up to a previous contact to try and make sure you have been vaccinated.

    Ended up decent conditions after a poor start. Shane Lowry said it was possibly the worst he had ever played in, but it cleared up late morning and some benign conditions for the later starters have seen a lot of low scores.

    Always amazes me how different the 18th at Carnoustie looks without all the grandstands down the left. Unusually, Kingsbarns seems to be playing the toughest of the 3 courses today.

    Joe Root certainly not caring about cricket this week as he is playing in the Dunhill Links, partnering former Ryder Cup player Ross Fisher. Warwickshire in total control of the Bob Willis Trophy final, currently 339-2 and lead Lancs by 261. Rob Yates hit his 5th red ball century of the season.
