    It's a tough one tbf, Cowboys on one side, Brady, Gronkowski and Brown on the other. Fwiw, it looked like a push off to me all day, every day.

    As it stands, Weisberger would move up to 4th in the European points list for the Ryder Cup, leapfrogging McIlroy who drops to 5th. That then means McIlroy qualifies from the World Points list instead and bumps Lowry out the automatic spots.

    Looks like Gallacher, Drysdale, Warren and Law are all in for the weekend. Forrest on -1 just now but has 17 and 18 to play so hopefully can pick up a shot or two. Calum Hill hit a 67 but was too far adrift to get back near the cut line.

    Not in the slightest bit surprised that he has folded like a cheap deckchair after being given a sniff of power and a pay rise. As someone mentioned before, Nicola will have him cutting the ribbons on a new oil rig or refinery before this parliament is done.

    From what he has seen so far, I'm sure Padraig will be sticking Hatton's name in the famous envelope to be used if any of the Yanks get injured.

    As usual at Ryder Cup time there will be no coincidence involved in that 3 ball. Guess Harrington wants to see how Hatton is playing and perhaps get a chance to get to know Hovland a bit better.

    Hatton is the one giving most cause for concern, he has hardly played this year. In his last 5 outings going back to the US Open he has missed the cut in 3 of them.

    This was what the post Gleneagles "task force" wanted IIRC. It's far too many, can't imagine any situation where the guys in 7th to 9th don't get picked.
