  1. I've got a job interview at quarter to three for Liquid nightclub. They're in administration so if I get it I might not be in employment for very long but even some bar experience would be really handy, fingers crossed.
  2. You don't want to see it. Someone's just tagged a close up of someone's testicle falling off.
  3. Currently people on my Facebook are raiding 4chan for horrific images and posting it on their walls. Also the name Sharon O Brien keeps cropping up, I thought it was someone local but people in the uni library were all talking about it.
  4. As have I, I really can't wait.
  5. A Rangers fan posted on the 11th "least we forget <3"
  6. I can't really get an urge to write an essay till after midnight hence why I'm sat on here at 2:37 writing about it. I'm quite pleased though 'cause I just got an excellent quote that pretty much argued my point for me and I got an A3 in my source exercise so all in all it's been a good day.
  7. Have to agree with everyone else, Arctic Monkeys was excellent and that's the first time I can say the crowd hasn't been shite at an SECC gig. Crying Lightning, Pretty Visitors and View From The Afternoon were highlights for me.
  8. A mate's just told us that his sister dropped him off two tickets to Arctic Monkeys at the SECC and he asked if I fancied it. Of course I do!
  9. K-Rose was an excellent radio station. There was nothing better than rampaging down the street mowing down pedestrians whilst All My Exes Live In Texas played away.
  10. Thanks to the person that mentioned weekly late night library sessions, they're keeping me on top of everything this year.
  11. 'Kick-Ass? More like Ass-Kick! Ha ha.' Possibly the greatest delivered line in a film. Ever. Paranormal Activity 3 - 7/10 I'm aware these films get quite a level of criticism but I've always enjoyed them as I'm really creeped out by that sort of horror. Anyway, went to see this at the Cineworld on Saturday and they racked up the scare factor with some very unsettling moments especially towards the end, however, they sacrificed the build up that was in the last two (although in some ways this is an improvement as it stopped it becoming boring) but the ending was well done. The only major problem which knocks down the overall score is from what I can see they've completely detracted from the plot of the first two films but I may be wrong. Also, anyone that's into these sort of films I highly recommend Grave Encounters. Possibly the most terrifying horror film I've seen.
  12. I definitely am now, The Horrors postponed till January due to Faris having vocal problems.
  13. The Horrors tomorrow then out for a few drinks and a catch up with some mates after. I'm quite tempted to book tickets for Anna Calvi or Adam Ant over the next couple of months as well.
  14. Was that Sin City? I went once I think but I could hardly remember leaving the flat never mind the music. Skint's been disappointing recently though just due to the sheer amount of people but it's still better than that shitehole.
  15. All Tomorrow's Parties - The Velvet Underground
  16. I used to wonder why The Matrix was one of my favourite films then I remembered at the end credits.
  17. The Union's where it's at. The always excellent Foam Party at Fat Sam's aside I struggle to get excited at the thought of going there, Liquid or Underground anymore. Also, does anyone know what happened to Girls and Boys? Is it still running in Edinburgh and Glasgow?
  18. Won an auction on Ebay for two tickets to The Horrors.
  19. "Doctor WHO? Doctor WHO? DOCTOR WHO?" Stehen Moffat's just trolled every Doctor Who fan for the last two series.
  20. Planned to see The Horrors at Liquid Rooms on the 19th but they've sold out so I'm trying everywhere to get two tickets without being ripped off. Seatwave looked promising with two tickets going at 18 pounds each but the sub charges are ridiculous.
  21. Our International Relations lecturer is the spitting image of Nick Hewer. I'm determined to get an A in case he'll introduce me to the real Nick Hewer.
