rendevous with rama by Arthur C. Clark.
I've been getting into science fiction book recently and i was wondering if anyone would recommend any particular author?
i was just wondering if anyone on here actually enjoys their job, because after stating that as soon as i went back to school i felt depressed my dad said that it was a good warm up for getting a career. (my mum gave him a good telling off).
No job appeals to me in the slightest. I need reasurance.
Or i could just go and live the wild. You woudn't need any money and it would be like being on holiday all the time.
My english teacher made a speech today about the world changing on 21st december 2112. She actuall believes it!!! She say that all holidays, she has been reading about spirits and stuff. How can they employ such an imbecile. I like the women but she a bit insane and a terrible teacher. At least she actually made me think for once. A feat too difficult for most teachers.
I can honestly say that i have only got one satisfactory teacher this year. Only one.
i was out throughing snowball at peoples houses a couple of nights ago and i was just wondering what you would do if someone was throughin stuff at your window. Chase them with a stick, ignore them, phone the poilice, ect.??
Watched trainspotting for the first time last night. Absolutely terrific film. The acting was superb all over but ewan mcgreggor was astounding. I never rated him that highly as an actor but after that i love the man.
10/10
i dont have all these rubbish consoles like x box and ps3. PC is the ultimate console. You dont need to buy a new one every time some new game comes out and it is basically i xbox but much more memory. Anything a ps3 can do, a pc can do better. FACT.
i've just finished listening "The man who sold the world" by bowie. It's a hugely underated bowie album, infact i would say it it one of his best. Bowie is a terrific song writer and an awsome "chamelion". although admitedly some of his eras are quite poor, his great albums (most of them are great) are really absolutely amazing.
I went to a gig on sunday in stirling to see Faust. They were fricken awsome. The couple playing for 30mins before that were really good aswell.
a very worthwhile evening.
This is england.
One of the best films i've seen. Stephen graham was absolutly amazing in it (as was the little boy), i dunno why stephen is not so well known8)
The slogan on this website doesn't make sense.
"the staple diet of scottish football."
It should be "The staple diet of scottish football fans and organizers."
yesterday i cycled about fourteen miles in 1h 20mins, with 2 or 3 big uphill struggles but 1 giant downhill and a few other smaller downhills. Is that good?
well you dont know that because his chain broke just as he made a significant attack. Dumb dumb!
anyway either did contador really apart from when he cheated and the other one when he only got 10 secs.
i hate contador. He's such a jammy b*****d. schleck deserved to win. Contador won the race on pure luck. Remember schleck was winning by 31 secs before his bad luck. If it wasn't for that incedent im sure schleck would have won but we'll never know now.
The departed. Fantastic film, great plot, great people in it (di caprio, Jack nicholson, matt damon), great directer, terrific acting (especially di caprio), awsome ending.

What a load of pish. Schleck the best cyclist? Contador's winning of all three grand tours would suggest otherwise.
based on this tour he seem a far better bike rider.
