  1. Will the Government go down the lockdown route again or will they try the Swedish/Japanese approach instead?
  2. If there's a 2nd/3rd/4th wave, what exactly has been gained/learnt from the lockdown?
  3. Top work @Jacksgranda This is undoubtedly the best and most heart warmingly unifying thread on the entire site.
  4. Looks a bit like the old English league championship trophy!
  5. You probably are friends with some of the above in real life.
  6. I used to, not so much these days. Ehime is in Japan btw.
  7. You clearly haven't ventured into the Old Firm or Junior forums.....
  8. Football Director was a favourite of mine back in the day. The Double too!
  9. This place is just Mumsnet with football, so for the last 3 months, it's basically just been Mumsnet.....
  10. f**k it! I'm off out to the Chinese restaurant.
  11. Will final day drama ever match helicopter Sunday? Hmm, I'd argue the final day of 82-83 season pisses all over it due to 3 Clubs going for the title, determined by the results in old firm, Dundee derbies and the Aberdeen v Hibs match.
  12. As the thread title says, what's the one thing you'd pinpoint as the best and worst thing to happen to your Club? Please give reasons to justify your choices.
  13. You need to factor in the increased Policing and Stewarding costs associated.
  14. Big, strong and dominant. Cleaned everything out. Could be the centre half Scotland are desperately lacking....
  15. This is true but nothing new. The whole thing burning to the ground wouldn't be a bad thing or borrowing Robespierre's guillotine at the very least. Irrespective of the SPFL Board being correct in this instance, they're undoubtedly incompetent (like their SFA counterparts) and Clubs posturing integrity whilst blatantly acting in self interest, the whole shitshow won't change. The reaction and subsequent decisions made in 2012 tells us this. Burn it down.
  16. Not sure if these have been posted before but I came across them on twitter: @stadiumportrait if anyone's interested. Fantastic pieces of art imo.
  17. I was a student in Manchester at the time. The Scotland v England game was the same day as the IRA decided to blow the Arndale centre up!
  18. It was a bad month for football. Am sure a fan died at Birmingham v Leeds that day then Heysel happened later.
  19. Does any of this really matter? There's going to be f**k all left of Scottish football by the time "normality" (whatever that'll look like!) returns. A bit like Donitz, Goering, Himmler and Borman arguing who takes over in the bunker.....
  20. Played on the dark side of the moon due to social distancing.....
  21. 1 season only: 1 Division of 44 Clubs - 43 league matches with 1-14 forming Premiership, 15-28 forming Championship, 29-42 forming League 1 and 43 & 44 relegated to HK/LL.
  22. An advocate of fewer Clubs suggesting reconstructing the leagues to contain more Clubs in the short term to brazenly save her own Club from relegation is the Diddiest of Diddery.
  23. Hearts have been the worst Premiership team for form since December 2018, so it's hard to argue that relegation isn't merited in spite of the season only being 3/4 complete. This would also suggest that they wouldn't get themselves out of trouble had the remaining 8 games been played. Ann Budge's volte-face from "we have too many Clubs" to (effectively) "we need a 14 team top flight" was disengenuous to say the least.
  24. I think alcohol might have also played a part to be honest.......
