  2. she can wear what she likes.........it's the donkey I'm concerned for !
  3. good news & bad news folks: Bad News: another day down and we're no closer to any official announcement on RFC being liquidated. Good News: Cheryl Cole's agent has confirmed that she's available for a gig in Tijuana.
  4. that's a tad unfair......she'd draw a good crowd if she was being fucked by a donkey in Tijuana
  5. They (BDO) may insist upon gaining a truer value for money with regard the sale of Ibrox & Murray Park (£5.5m to Green / £100m on the Balance sheet valuation)
  6. don't worry, Dave, the Creditors will provide enough opposition to the proposed CVA !
  7. could this put a spanner in the works of Whyte/Green & Duff&Phelps' "Newco via liquidation" plan ?
  8. HMRC arrange for liquidators at Rangers if administrators fail to save club By Mike Farrell 7 June 2012 15:51 BSTRangers: The liquidation move by HMRC was confirmed on Thursday.© SNS Group HM Revenue and Customs have arranged for liquidators to be appointed at Rangers should administrators fail to rescue the club. The tax authorities agreed the plan with current administrators Duff and Phelps, it was revealed on Thursday. Insolvency firm BDO have been lined up by HMRC should the current attempts to get the Ibrox club out of administration fail and they are put into liquidation. The move was made by HMRC in April after Duff and Phelps produced their proposals to remain in post, which those owed money had to vote on. On Thursday the administrators released the proposals approved by creditors, which originally asked them to rubber-stamp the appointment of Duff and Phelps as liquidators of Rangers should a proposed company voluntary arrangement (CVA) fail. The result of the creditors vote in April has also given the administrators power to "conclude a sale of the whole, or part of the business, property or assets of the company" without needings creditors permission, should the proposed CVA be successful. Now, should the CVA proposal funded by an £8.5m loan from the Sevco consortium led by Charles Green fail to receive the backing of creditors, the neutral insolvency firm would be called in. This would be in the case of the compulsory court-ordered winding up of the crisis-hit club, or if a creditors voluntary liquidation (CVL) took place as part of a 'newco' switch. According to documents released last week, in the event of the CVA failing, the consortium is "contractually obliged" to pay £5.5m for the "business and assets" of Rangers, which would be transferred to a completely different business entity, before the existing one is liquidated. The details of the newco deal are "confidential" and it is unclear whether the money to fund it would also take the form of a loan with interest. BDO and HMRC refused to comment on the agreement reached over the situation at the Glasgow club, which was plunged into administration on February 14 having failed to pay £14m in PAYE and VAT since Craig Whyte bought an 85% stake in the club in May 2011.
  9. No8 is attempting the Pie & Bovril equivalent of "Custer's last stand" !
  10. so by this ruling it'll be 5 years in Barlinnie for Craig Whyte ?! not sure he'll like the pony rides !
  11. In spite of your trolling, No8, I honestly get the impression that you and the Club you support could not give a f**k if that were to happen. This is about something far bigger than some petty parochial rivalry but the greater good of the game in this Country. Not all of us want Rangers punished properly because they are Rangers........but because they have broken numerous rules and deserve to be punished. but carry on with your "scorched earth" policy.........it didn't do the Wehrmacht any harm on their retreat from the Soviet Union !
  12. SFA's independent judicial panel is robust - Stewart Regan Stewart Regan has rejected the notion that a recent Court of Session ruling on Rangers' transfer banhas undermined the Scottish FA's judicial panel. Lord Glennie ruled at the civil court that the ban imposed on Rangers by the SFA's independent tribunal was unlawful and outwith the organisation's powers. "I think the judicial panel has been proved to be robust," said SFA chief executive Regan. "Different legal brains have different interpretations." Continue reading the main story “Fifa are very happy with the fact that the Scottish FA are managing this process” Stewart ReganSFA chief executiveThe judicial panel served Rangers with a fine of £160,000 and banned the club from signing players over the age of 18 for a year. When Rangers' appeal was rejected by the appellate tribunal chaired by Lord Carloway the club chose to take the matter to the Court of Session in Edinburgh. On that occasion, Rangers were successful and Lord Glennie decided the matter should be returned to the appellate tribunal for them to decide on an appropriate punishment for bringing the game into disrepute. Regan dismissed the suggestion that a "deal" could be struck between the club and the SFA. He said: "As a board, we recognise the independence of the process and we will not interfere. "There won't be and can't be any deals, as has been highlighted in the press recently. Rangers transfer ban timeline 24 April: SFA ban Rangers from signing players over 18 for 12 months 16 May: Appellate tribunal upholds decision 28 May: Rangers challenge decision at Court of Session 29 May Lord Glennie rules the SFA acted beyond its powers in imposing the ban 31 May: SFA decide not to contest Court of Session ruling "There is no need for guidance as such. In terms of the appellate tribunal themselves, they will deal with the matter as they see fit. "It is an independent tribunal. "Our view is that football will govern football disciplinary matters. We will not go any further in the process. "We will follow Lord Glennie's decision." Regan says the SFA will not consider additional sanctions against Rangers for taking their case to the civil court, and not to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. "There is a consideration that we have within our articles where going outside of the Scottish FA's articles and going to a civil court technically could have breached the Scottish FA's articles," he said. "However, in light of Lord Glennie's comments and having discussed the matter with Fifa, it is not our intention to take any action. "We are aware of the reasons why Rangers did what they did and we will not be pursuing them for that." And on the involvement of FIFA, Regan added: "We have had communication with Fifa over the last week. "As of this morning, we have received a fax back from Fifa confirming that the Scottish FA are not in breach of Fifa statute 64.3. "They are very happy with the fact that the Scottish FA are managing this process. "We have kept them in the loop right from the outset and they have got no further action that they are intending to take." Hmm....I thought even taking a footballing issue to a Civil Court was punishable ?
  13. Agreed......as is an Administrator deliberately INCREASING a company's debt & not acting on behalf of the CREDITORS......in fact I believe it's illegal.
  14. Darwin must be spinning in his grave when it comes to Roasters Posters like ALLYMAC !
  15. fair point........although were they not running at a £10m annual deficit ?
  16. Net spend ? bit of a red herring if you ask me as this doesn't allow for: signing on fee's loyalty pay offs (when a player is sold at the clubs desire) Not to mention that the £9m sale of Hutton to Spurs was allegedly a means of writing off a debt to Daniel Levy's company.
  17. I think it will be more of a case of "egg on face" for the Bears when the SFA replace Rangers original punishment with a 1year suspension. Humble pie ? Nah......we'll stick to ice cream & jelly thanks
  18. So much for cost cutting ! Reply Retweet Favorite 9mRangers FC Official ‏@RFC_Official#RFC have confirmed they will tour in Germany this summer in a three-game programme against local sides in Lower Saxony
