  1. You can fly direct from Tokyo to Ishigaki Island......it's beautiful and a lot less populated than the main Island/Naha of Okinawa. The Ishigaki beef is very nice and Goya vegetable is a anti cancer superfood apparently! http://www.ishigaki-japan.com/
  2. Autumn (October) is still 20°c+ in Shikoku but Japan doesn't really have a beach going/sun worshipping culture. Okinawa would be better for that due to the massive American influence.
  3. People that don't frequent Club Bounce? Sounds like udon noodles!
  4. You make me feel like Thomas Edison.......
  5. Sounds like you missed out on a lot of commission due to all that snow recently over there! How many pours got cancelled?
  6. Okinawa! You can get a direct flight from Tokyo to Ishigaki (beautiful island with coral reefs). Flight is about 2-3hours from Tokyo.
  7. What's the weather like in October in Hokkaido, Sapporo specifically? Booked flights to Tokyo but haven't decided where to go yet. Fucking cold! They have a winter festival there with ice sculptures. Lots of active volcanos there as well as wild bears! I've yet to visit there but the winter festival is something I'd like to see. Winters tend to be dry in Japan even though the mountainous areas and Hokkaido get a lot of snow.
  8. I agree. Parts of Scotland on a clear day are far more beautiful than where I live in Japan (barring perhaps when the cherry blossom is out), the point I was making is that those clear days are few and far between. The last summer I spent in Scotland was so windy and cold that I thought I was living in a wind tunnel!
  9. I must have completely imagined working outside in adverse weather on numerous times with cranes being winded off and concrete pours being cancelled due to low temperatures...... Have you ever been to a hot Country? The first thing you notice is how colourful it is compared to back in Scotland.
  10. I know what you mean. I miss the light summer nights (on the rare occasions when its warm and sunny) that you can enjoy sitting outside........the fucking mosquitoes don't allow that here
  11. I totally agree. We only have a 2 month wet season with high humidity but 6 months+ of 30+ degrees here and it does get tiresome. What I don't miss about Scotland is the grey sky, driving wind and rain as well as the low temperatures in the summer.......probably because I worked outside in it from 7.30am-6pm 5-6days a week!
  12. Indeed. Just look at what the Nazis did for human medical science and space travel........
  13. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/04/04/world/middleeast/isis-documents-mosul-iraq.html Interesting article about how ISIS governed Mosul. Turns out they did a better job of running public services than the Iraqi Government...........if you look past their sectarian murdering and pilfering......
  14. Whilst the weather in Scotland isn't generally dangerous or life threatening (hurricanes, typhoons, tornados, tsunamis etc) it is on the whole gloomy, cold and shite. That can't be denied.
  15. Is that not par for the course down in Dumfries?
  16. Did Tom ever get back to Hugh about "whit's the goalie doing?"
  17. Ah fair enough. I get the impression that Lomachenko wants to be a multiweight champion more than any particular weights unified champion. How far up could he realistically go?
  18. That's how I see it TBH. LW Division is pretty stacked with Garcia, Beltran & Easter Jr but can see him stepping up a weight to fight Crawford if he handles LW as well as he did with the step from FW to SFW
  19. What's everyones thoughts on Lomachenko v Linares? Can't see past Loma personally.......even though I like and rate Linares.
  20. Yeh, an ex posted one of our videos on there when we were together but I'm not going to spend my days wanking myself into oblivion though FFS! We're waiting to find out whether she's been accepted at the kindergarten as my wife had to pass an exam in order to practice here in Japan before being accepted by her employers......she only got the result 2 weeks before she started the job.
  21. Depends upon the type of use it was designed for and whether its a Uniformly Distributed Load or Point loading............and lets not forget the Dynamic loads of these heffers dancing in unison!
  22. I'm sure I read on twitter recently, someone suggesting that if they were stuck on a desert island with Glenn Hoddle and a tin of beans that they'd eat Glenn Hoddle and talk to the tin of beans....... Anyway vegans or deer? :
