Realistically we’ve not really laid a glove on them here, I don’t know what the plan before the game was - you have to do something different from the usual and they’ve just performed the same as they always do against Ireland and got the same result.

Is it just me or is Aberg escaping a bit with his displays? He’s a fine player and will be for years to come but I felt Hovland carried a lot of their team and getting smoked by Big Brooks - who has been pretty hopeless this week.

That’s a pretty dismal effort from Bob today. I know he wanted to build up some momentum ahead of next week but playing a tough golf course in poor conditions was not the best choice and it’s ended up possibly having the opposite effect from what is desired.
I could see him getting a run out in the Friday fourballs next week and that might be it until Sunday unfortunately.
