Any person losing their job is of course nothing to rejoice in but I do find some of the obituaries and hand wringing online about wrestlers like Aliyah and Rick Boogs a little bit much. Realistically nobody was calling for them to be given time on TV and they’ll probably be able to do more on other promotions.

For all of the pearl clutching around Rassie’s conduct with referees, it has worked absolutely perfectly because referees are shit scared to give anything against them and the citing authorities dare not go anywhere near them. Could see Curry’s being overturned now because there will be a storm with the English press if not.

That’s dreadfully weak refereeing there, it really is. Even Shane Williams thinks he should have been binned there

It’s in and now the waiting game begins. If he makes it, it might work out quite well but he can be free to just play good golf over the weekend, finish as high as he can and make it difficult for Meronk or Paul to pass him.

Another thing I thought about this, not only are the Americans playing much better but this course just looks set up to them. I can bet the course next week will be tricked up to make the US feel uncomfortable but you could plonk this track in Texas or California and nobody would bat an eyelid.
