  1. Not sure about that. In the game at Parkhead it could have been 5 or 6 by half time if not for McGregor
  2. Which shouldn't be the motivation and would only suggest he is being driven by something more sinister. The motivation should be to ensure Celtic move everything they can to give any victims closure and not adequate but generous compensation so they can try rebuild their lives and to ensure nothing like this can ever happen again.
  3. Why are you on the attack here? There is no one here not acknowledging cases of abuse however you do seem to think Celtic are the only club in Scotland where this was happening….it wasn’t and i do hope you apply the same energy to holding all clubs to account for their failings….including the ones that happened under your clubs name. What is it you want the Celtic support to do exactly? What is it you want the club to do exactly? All the club can do is apologise and compensate because the people who carried out the abuse or didn’t do the right things to bring it to attention are no longer here to be held to account. It’s almost as if you want the current board of directors to face prosecution for crimes they were not involved in.
  4. Some see it as sport, oblivious to the wider issue and how many clubs have victims. For some of them it feels it doesn’t matter as those cases may be fewer but 1 case is 1 case too fucking many no matter the name it happened under. There has to be culpability for the clubs and compensation for each and every victim The victims need to come 1st not this need to get one up your rivals.
  5. A couple of things here. The club has to acknowledge, apologise and adequately and generously compensate for the abuse carried out under their name it’s as simple as that and nothing else will do however to say the Celtic support turned their back I think that’s a bit unfair on today’s fan. Fans of an age then absolutely yes but a vast number of us we either weren’t born or too young to actually understand that’s not turning your back and only as we got older do we understand the weight of what has happened. Most modern day fans I know are happy to face into this and accept this was wrong, as wrong as it gets and everything and anything to be done to ensure it can never happen again and that’s the part we need to play. It’s a tragedy that those young boys will never get the justice they deserve in terms of seeing all of their abusers prosecuted, the club will always have to carry that weight. Can a monetary value ever be enough compensation for what was taken from them?
  6. Seems a bit pointless considering we already complain about fixture congestion, have a world cup in November etc etc.
  7. Starting to look like he came to Scotland for the free prescriptions
  8. I'd imagine so, CCV is on loan and we have no indication as of yet if he will stay beyond that. Starfelt i'm not convinced with however we have been here with centre halfs before who turned good in the 2nd season, Alan Stubbs was a good example of that. Centre halfs and a left back would be top of my list for the summer for sure
  9. A few are looking a little jaded however 1 thing they can sort out is this always playing out from the back, that nonsense between Hart and Starfelt in the 88th or whatever minute it was, was fucking ridiculous and Hart being the experienced one needs to do better. We deserved to lose a goal for that act of fuddery alone.
  10. Expecting to see a much higher level of performance. I’d like to see GG, O’Riley back in and we go for the throat, we have lost that aggressiveness in our play since the Motherwell game so need to get that back.
  11. But it’s a difficult choice as to if you should buy a share or for 5p more buy a Freddo.
  12. For at least the 10 minutes that it takes me to get them the deal
  13. Not financial services mate but for a very large communications company who when you say who gets you both pelters and requests for friends and family deals I’m pretty sure you can work out who from that
  14. Good for Rangers mate, I congratulated them at the time and I hope they keep going long into the competition however it doesn’t change the fact both Celtic and Rangers tend to suffer from a post European hangover. On very few occasions after a European match we play well in the next league game and Rangers too seem to be doing that so is it slagging them or just stating the fucking obvious? What I will be back for a bite of is your last remark considering we play them next Sunday, that has considerable arse biting potential
  15. Bodo would beat any team in this league and comfortably I may add however I wouldn’t be slagging off any teams performances in a competition in which you can’t even qualify for. As for Dundee we gave away 2 chances and they scored both so credit to them but we still took 3 points and if you look at just the facts we have taken 22 points from 24 available since the break Rangers have taken 13. We aren’t going to win every game but neither are they however even being shit today it’s still a game we should have won but the result hasn’t damaged us so every cloud and all that.
  16. That’s pish as you were on the Celtic Ross County thread commenting on what was happening during the game.
  17. Apparently I am, going in tomorrow looking for that band 9 pay as it seems to be missing from payslip I made a comment once referring to the different directorates of my employer and Benny assumes I must somehow be a senior executive of said employer.
  18. As I’ve told you before Benny I’m not a senior executive of anything and most senior execs that I do know tend to use much more colourful language than dafties. Your attempt to read between the lines of one of my old posts is quite funny and funnier you care more about that than your teams performance today Dafty
  19. Do you get extra staunch points for not watching Celtic? Like I said earlier I wanted to watch Liam Shaw as he is our player and I’m interested, I assume that’s an acceptable reason to watch Motherwell? The fact they were playing Rangers is an irrelevance, a funny irrelevance but irrelevant all the same. And you didn’t mock me, you mocked yourself as that second half by Rangers was indeed turgid.
  20. Caught the second half more so to see how Liam Shaw was getting on and didn’t expect to see that comeback Thought he looked really good. Could have been easy for Motherwell to crumble but they took their chances so well done them. Shout out to @AB1872 and @bennett who were the first to chirp in at full time after our games finished. You dafties never learn do you?
  21. This result is even more annoying knowing Rangers inevitably were going to shit the bed after winning the Dortmund trophy.
  22. It’s the 1st poor performance Hatate has had. He’s generally been excellent in every game he has started in
  23. I said since the start of the year or are you suggesting the performances against Celtic and Ross County were acceptable?
  24. Even at our worst Hibs don’t get a shot on target so i suppose that’s about the only positive to take. We won’t play any worse that however a performance like that has been coming. Counting the days till Kyogo is back
