Yes, however 4 of their usual back 5 including the goalkeeper, all except Ralston were Ange signings.

They are very good going forward, and Ange’s teams are very good to watch but let’s not forget it’s only December and they are already out of 2 European tournaments.

He needs to evolve his style for Europe as it’s not working.

We are still in Europe beyond Christmas and won 3 of our group matches for a squad that was put together only 4 months ago.

By this time last season we were out of Europe completely, out of the League Cup and all but out of the league.

If anything the signs are quite positive

Celtic treating the chase for coefficient points with utter contempt tonight. They are literally playing the reserve team! They couldn't care less. Ironic really given how they haven't even come close to qualifying for the Champions League in recent years.

    Did we aye?

If Postecoglou doesn’t rotate his team they’re going to continue to pick up soft tissue injuries. That’s more likely to be Celtics downfall than anything else.

Tonight if nothing else has shows we can however we are quickly running out of attacking options as that’s Kyogo, Jota, Forrest, Ajeti all likely out with hamstring injuries and GG out with some other injury.

Will have big Biton in at centre forward at this rate

Celtic moan and moan about other Scottish teams not helping them progress and then they go and risk bombing the coefficient further by playing their reserves.

Bit of melodrama there. Coefficient won’t bomb by us playing reserves we just won’t gain anymore coefficient points than the 7 we already have however the overall coefficient for Scottish football will go up now the groups are concluded. Should put us at 4.900 for this season which will put us up to 33.900 and closer to Austria

You tried to justify the picture as the article was aimed at Celtic fans.

It’s a basic concept of journalism that the headline of an article highlights the point the author is trying to convey. In this instance -  Celtic are unfairly treated. No matter how many lines he dedicated to Kyogo’s goal, that wasn’t the purpose of the article and using that picture goes against what he was trying to convey.

I was laughing at it’s very ironic use.

Justification doesn’t come in the form of a question and the question was for you to clarify who you felt he was out of touch with.

I’m not a journalist so won’t claim to understand it’s basic principles however if he’s claiming Celtic are being unfairly treated which includes the furore around Kyogos goals then to the author the picture probably makes sense especially if the intended audience are Celtic fans who may agree with him?

You can still find it ironic and funny, the 2 things can both be true but it’s a bit of a non-story tbh

How can you disagree with what I've said 😂

I maybe thought some would deflect or just ignore it altogether, but to actually get defensive rather than just say "you know what, I can appreciate why people are ridiculing and laughing at this" is something else.

Surely it's a fundamental principle where if you are writing an article to convey a specific viewpoint, you shouldn't lead with a picture that is opposing to it?

I haven’t disagreed to anything you said actually I just asked you a question and then remarked how very Bennett like your post is in the sense that you are starting to post links to Twitter on matters relating to Celtic and when someone doesn’t immediately validate your opinion you assume they disagree completely and get a little bent out of shape.

Also if you read the article it becomes clear why he is using it as his belief is “It’s a goal, mate” also the goal is the topic for quite a bit of his article so it does make sense even if you disagree with the decision

Out of touch, as in, lacking awareness. If they are going to write an article about how Celtic are on the receiving end of poor decisions, I'd suggest not using a picture showing Celtic benefitting from a decision, to highlight the article. Regardless of who their intended audience is, this just damages their point and makes them look silly.

    Bennett stole your login?
