I genuinely don’t recall many instances at all where I thought Maeda had done Yilmaz or he’d been caught out. That’s the quietest Maeda has been against us as he usually causes us issues with his running.

I don’t recall any of Clement’s comments suggesting he’d seen off Celtic or their manager as Rodgers did. He genuinely has a vanity problem and forgets the fans were revolting a couple of weeks ago.

I don’t expect you to remember everything happened in the match particular when your mindset is firmly in the I’ve been cheated camp

Clement made a bit of a tit of himself yesterday with his comments however he should be congratulated for winning the we had more shots than them trophy.

My point is mainly that this culture was present before VAR anyway and is not a byproduct of VAR.

Maeda was completely ineffective compared to his usual style and that was mainly down to Ridvan being able to match him pace and stamina wise.

Yeah that explains the half dozen or so positions he got into behind Yilmaz where a better ball or better decision making could have resulted in a shot at goal 😂

You had 1 maybe 2 players who got pass marks yesterday and 1 of them wasn’t Yilmaz

It will, aye, though I’m encouraged to see improvements from some of the players already here. I thought Ridvan had one of his best games for us yesterday, completely nullifying Maeda and outmatched his running power.

    He did f**k all 🤣

Maeda was constantly in behind him but luckily for you his final ball is a bad as anything I’ve ever seen

I‘m not asking you anything? You say you’ve gave your opinion on why you don’t think it was a red (Sima came from Johnstone’s blind side) and I am giving my opinion on why I think Johnstone should’ve been sent off. Not a question.

Can you provide a clip of the Sterling challenge and I’ll give my opinion on it.

I don’t have a clip of it but the highlights are on now so I’m sure they will show it.

The still doesn’t look too hot though considering there is a ball nowhere to be seen since Taylor has already cleared it

Ignore the blurb in the tweet about Walsh as it’s a load of waffle, but this clip clearly shows Johnstone throwing out his elbow, catching Sima and ending his game. It’s reckless and a yellow card every day of the week.

I gave you my opinion on this so why are you still asking me? My opinion won’t change

    However

I’ve now asked you 3 times if Sterling should have been given a 2nd yellow for the foul on Taylor using your own scale of what merits a yellow card?

You can keep swerving it like the ball off Kyogos left peg that left Goldson and Butland looking like a pair of fannies or Is the question too difficult or are you now doubting the basis of your argument? Surely not 😬

I literally just conceded that the replay shown before doesn’t make it seem as obvious. I still believe he is late into the tackle though after Goldson played the ball.

So your defence of Johnstone 😉 escaping a yellow is to reference another incident? Cool. Better than your “he came from Johnstones blind side” argument earlier 😂

I explained why I don’t think Johnstons was a yellow.

However your description of what a clear yellow was is exactly what Sterling did to Taylor….so…..should it have been a 2nd yellow for Sterling?

You seem to have issue with people ignoring your questions and you retort by ignoring questions

    You’re no real man 🤣

I’d say this angle is probably more inconclusive than I first thought. At the time it seemed as though Bernardo was late, with Goldson playing the ball and his right foot stamping down onto Goldson’s left boot. Maybe not so much on that viewing but still second to the challenge.

Still need to hear a defence of Johnstone escaping a second yellow as well.

Thats by no means the reason we lost, but Celtic should’ve had at least 1 red card today IMO.

So not quite as clear a second yellow after all? 🤣

And I hate to be pedantic but it’s Johnston and we still need to hear a defence of Sterling on Taylor since that tackle was both late and heavy

I’m sorry but the Bernardo tackle is as clear as a second yellow as you are likely to see. And you’ve described Sima getting an elbow to the head as “Sima jumping in from Johnstones blind side”. You’re no real man.

Then Sterling has to be given a second yellow too for his tackle on Taylor, to suggest otherwise based on what you said merits a yellow card would be utterly disingenuous.

So why aren’t you calling that out as one of the referees “mistakes”?

Aye sounds like wee Wullie has made a c**t of it but has been saved by the fact that Sima was offside.

Does sound that way however it’s pretty ironic that Rangers fans are having meltdowns about second yellows not being given but want to benefit from a penalty that clearly shouldn’t be given due to offside.

If it wasn’t offside then you can’t argue against it, it should be a penalty

Why Rangers weren't awarded a penalty for Celtic handball incident

VAR official Willie Collum did not feel that referee Nick Walsh had made a clear and obvious error by failing to award Rangers a penalty following an Alistair Johnston handball in their cinch Premiership match against Celtic at Parkhead today.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement was incensed the Ibrox club were not given a spot kick following a VAR check of the incident just before half-time in a match his side ended up losing 2-1.

However, Collum believed that Walsh had been correct just to give a goal kick because he felt the Celtic player's hand was in a natural position when it made contact with the ball after watching a replay back at Clydesdale House

Ultimately the correct decision is still given because even if Collum thought it was handball then the attacking phase has to be checked which would have highlighted Sima as offside anyway

    End result is no penalty

However I’ll caveat that by saying I hope Collum has said what you posted as the meltdown will continue to be epic
