No one suggested that at all It’s a simple point that Ralston has plenty of time to develop and if you look at where he is compared to where Tav was at the same age then there is no reason why he can’t improve like Tavernier has. Johnston on the other hand is already a better defender than Tavernier

Ralston is only 24 and at that age Tavernier was going absolutely nowhere just bouncing about from loan to loan and struggling to cement himself as a first team player anywhere. You could say both he and Johnston who is also only 24 are way ahead of where Tavernier was at that age

That’s not entirely true as you can see on this topic Celtic fans aren’t all agreed on this decision and it was the same for the penalty we got against Livi and the one not given against us v Killie.

Why not? It’s my belief it’s a red and Walsh got it wrong in the same way I didn’t complain about Bittons red for a very similar situation for which ironically a lot of people posting on this thread thought was a fair red card but this one isn’t. If we found the official competent wouldn’t we be applauding Walsh for giving the red in the first instance without the need for VAR interference?

It’s a similar incident so I see why it’s referenced. I said it was a red at the time, I actually remember having an argument on here with another Celtic fan about it. I do also remember most people at the time also believing it to be a stick on red including 1 or 2 Hearts fans ironically who have a very different opinion of yesterday

I would add the Goldson one against Dundee United which wasn’t given especially if you compare that to the one we got against Livi I think which was pretty bonkers tbh. O’Riley has had the shit stick this season with pens, I’m sure she’s had 3 or 4 given against him -

It’s been there for the majority and I don’t think there is any other club that hasn’t had VAR intervene to give a penalty against in the league except Rangers. I would accept that if there were no instances worthy of debate but again that’s not the case. Your counter argument is whataboutery and deflection. I didn’t mention Celtic or indeed allude to any concerns that I have. -
