  1. yup, OU student. It was more the only discounts noted are for a seat and not standing
  2. The entire email seems geared towards season tickets with seats and if they want to move to the North stand. I find it weird there's one option for those who stand, £300, but there's loads of options due seats by age range, concession type, etc. Why on earth would I pay them £300 to stand when I could get a student seat for £210?
  3. Let it out mate, holding it in just means it goes round and round.
  4. Managed to lock myself out my Uni account. I work in IT I know I need to phone them. So why the fk have I been sat for 4 days now terrified to pick up the phone and talk to them? Weird what yer heid worries about
  5. Loath to bring this up, but the wee p***ks in the SRE who think it's a laugh to fling pies and the like about the place can get tae f**k. Last three games I've had stuff whizzing by or hitting me and folk around me.
  6. THis x100 When/why don't they let away fans go under part of the cowshed like they used to?
  7. Thought Utd were wearing that green effort as their away kit this season, why the black out one?
  8. Train's a tricky one, it stops at Prestwick Town then you have to transfer to a shuttle service via Newton on Ayr (nearest station to the ground) and then Ayr. Pubs, not really any between the station and the ground - not sure if the Wallace bar on Tam's brig is still open, but the hub at the ground has plenty of TV's and the beers awright. Away fans welcome
  9. Most of my career I've been waiting on someone popping up and pulling out the 'bluff' card. I work in IT, had crashed out of Uni and ended up on a training scheme via the dole office. Almost 28 years later and somewhere along the way I went from the guy who was just winging it to he kens what he's doing. Not entirely sure when it happened, but I can remember the feeling of dread when I overheard someone saying "Dave said do ...." That said, the biggest lesson I ever learned was being able to say " I don't know, but I can try and find out" when someone asks you a question
  10. I have a strong suspicion we're all overestimating the clubs internal data analysis of players, beyond "eyes and ears" of coaching staff.
  11. If any employer, football or otherwise, isn't tracking performance data and can't evidence why they do not want to extend a fixed term contract, then hell mend them.
  12. the eyes, whats going on there?
  13. I remember the first time I had that happen, was sat at work and suddenly realised i couldn't see anything down one side. Was convinced for a good 10 minutes I was having a stroke
  14. Going back a few years, but a bloke who was a mate of my Dad's showed a remarkable level of tight. He won on a scratchcard, brand new Astra coupe (so around 2000 or so this would have been) and he was peacocking away about how well he'd done, but he wasn't keeping it as he needed the land rover ting he had as it was easier for his wife to get in and out of (she had arthritis). He picks it up at the dealer and straight away asks what can he get for it, dealer naturally says about 5k below list price, second hand. He would still have been coming out with about £14k iirc. the big man is so incensed that he isn't getting list price, he storms off and says he'll drive it for a year - so for the next year he made his missus and her walking frame get in and out of this motor, rather than just accept he's still 14k up
  15. Last time she ever compliments a man on his chinos
