  1. Will there be any streams for the friendly games? I'm away on holiday for the first couple of games and would be good to still be able to watch them.
  2. With under 2 weeks until pre season I wonder if we will sign anyone else before then. Hopefully we can get a goalkeeper sorted sooner rather than later. Was hoping we might have had a chance at keeping PJ Morrison but he has just signed for Falkirk
  3. Thought Alloa should have had the game buried long before the opener but we didn't and fair play to Dumbarton for getting themselves back in it and then winning after that unbelievable strike by riley-snow although I think It was the only positive he had when he came on, he genuinely looked all over the place and that lazy leg for the penalty was stupidity. I was sitting beside a guy who had come to an Alloa game for the first time with his as his child was in the community club. He turnt to me at 80 minutes and said I can't take this anymore i have seen a better standard at amateur level I'm off and then left so it will be a surprise to him when he gets home that the game finished 3-2 as he left at 0-0 As much as I was supporting the losing side yesterday, fair play to the Dumbarton fans the way you celebrated that late winner was sickening and good to watch all at the same time. We had a very similar experience away to Queens Park earlier in the season and they are the special memorable moments as a football fan.
  4. Day before a massive game and still no thread so thought I'd kick it off. Not too sure how chipper will line us up. I think we were very good in the 2nd half last week when Cawley moved further up the park (wasted at wing back IMO). Since chipper has come in we seem to be better in every department and look a far better team. I think if Alloa win, it practically garuntees safety from the automatic relegation spot as there would be 13 points between us with 15 to play for. Big couple of weeks but hopefully 3 points on Saturday sets us up nicely for Dumbarton the following week.
  5. Very good and the commentary is one of best you'll find in Scotland IMO.
  6. All the fans who have been staying away because of that absolute disaster of a manager, will hopefully come back and get right behind the team 100% starting from Saturday, we are right in the mix for relegation and the players need as much positive support going forward as possible.
  7. Think they are having a few technical difficulties, just seen @LeodhasXD rushing about before kick off, he might have not been able to sort it before kick off.
  8. Get him to f**k! Had more than enough of this absolute shite, something needs to change!
  9. Seen everything since the 99 challenge Cup final seen a good few lows but I don't even think I was this demoralised when Maitland got us relegated to the 3rd division.
  10. I have never been this demoralised following alloa, I don't see anyway BF could turn this round just get him out the door!
  11. Don't know what was worse the alloa Performance or the pixellot camera!
  12. By the sounds of it, he was saying if fans want to turn up to training and have an open and honest chat his door is open. To be fair he sounds like he really wants to change the mood around the club and supporter's and if any fans do want to go up and get questions answered that they've been putting ln here all season there isn't a better way to do it than go in and have a discussion with the manager. As I've said before me and a couple others did it on Saturday after and it was very good, he wasn't trying to rush away and was trying to explain different things that we don't all see from the outside.
  13. Barry has just said on Go Radio that his door is always open and any fan is welcome to go up and have a talk with him and discuss anything that is concerning the fans, he again said later in the show he really hopes a few fans turn up tomorrow as he wants to get everyone going in the same direction Asap.
  14. I can garuntee you there was absolutely none of that going on, what happened really doesn't look good for the club. A good discussion was had with both sides putting their views across and I appreciated Barry for being a man and standing and being up front about everything as he could have easily walked straight past us. Hopefully everyone can move on from it and we have a successful season.
  15. Well that wasn't a great look for the club at all. On both sides things went far to far. Me and a couple of others stood and waited and wanted to get a calm chat with Barry. He came out 10 minutes after the game and stood for easily 30 minutes and was in no rush to get away. He agreed he shouldn't have come running over and should have approached the situation in a better way but he wears his heart on his sleeve and it was a build up of some ridiculous shouts the past few weeks to his players that caused him to approach the fans, again said he wished he wish he approached it differently. He says that him and the team feel that an element of the support has been so negative and can't wait to jump on the players back said that other managers have commented how supportive and encouraging our supporters are but he hasn't really felt that the first few months together. He wants everyone to be singing off the same hymn sheet and going in the same direction. Thinks the negative attitude has affected players and he is determined to change that. He also said we are in and around challenging for the league and he thinks the team will only get better the more they play together as they have had a good turnaround of players In the summer. He said he takes responsibility for the changes but he lives and dies by his decisions but the support need to give it time and make their judgements in the later part of the season as he's confident the club will be up there at the business end of the season. I brought up the lack of communication with no pre or post match interviews and that the supporters feel like he doesn't feel like he needs to communicate with us and he said this is absolutely not the case and he is very surprised the club have never asked him to do this and he is going to insist to the club that this changes( I have volunteered myself to do this as @LeodhasXD is far to busy and doesn't have the time). The last thing he said to me was he absolutely expects shouts and a bit of stick If he gets things wrong but his players will always give 100% for the club so he hopes the fans can give them 100% backing.

  17. I completely get that the time constraints must be tough. Surely though as an Alloa Athletic employee the manager would be more than happy to do a one to one interview with you when your ready and not just when other general reporters are asking him questions. It's a strange one I feel like alot of fans are getting on Barrys back because there hasn't been the Same communication (maybe not Barrys fault to be fair to him) between him and fans. Anytime I have heard him speak he has came across well, but I just feel like we don't hear enough from him as we have done with managers in the past. I know it's not the same level as professionalism as you would maybe like but if it meant me having to volunteer to record the post match interviews on my phone and send them to you I'd be more than happy to do so, just think this matter is so important in a community club like ourselves to keep supporters engaged and see fully what the managers thoughts are rather than just a line or two of quotes from him. Some might disagree but that's my honest thoughts on the situation.
  18. @LeodhasXD the highlights and the job you are doing is fantastic. If you were looking for opinions on how I think it could improve, I would love to see an interview with the manager post match, really hope this could possibility be going forward
  19. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/barry-fergusons-lack-respect-factor-24885632?utm_source=linkCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar Neil Parrys side of the story , really expected better from BF the disrespect towards a legend of the club is absolutely disgusting!
  20. Well if anyone really wants to question BF on a few things he's usually on the Go Radio football phone in show between 5 and 7 on a Monday night.
  21. Really not getting a great feeling about this season, I really hope I'm wrong. As has been mentioned before its the last place we needed players brought in for, I think with the lack of goalscoring threat he should be looking to strengthen middle to front. Can't remember seeing Mendy play but I've never been convinced by Hutton anytime I've seen him and its definitely not an upgrade on Parry.
