      After a 10 min walk from the train station to my house every weekday, I feel I have earned this treat on a regular basis. I have sweet chili sauce with mine.

      i have a sauce with mine too, which i dip the pakora into. i'm not sure what the sauce is, but it's spicy and has a slight hint of peppermint. pleasant.

      White pudding suppers are the best thing from a chippy imo. Salt, vinegar and brown sauce on the chips. Usually have a pickled egg too.

    A week today and I am a dad again for the third time. Mrs is well and truly scunnered with being pregnant and wants the wee one out. I say wee, but she is going to weigh about 9lbs 13 we reckon.

    1. I have a degree in Human Resource Management, and found myself managing a dental practice. 2. I served in the Royal Navy for 12 years. Sailed around the world and take enormous pride in my knowledge of local bars and McDonald's across this wonderful planet. 3. I have numerous tattoos - all of which are crap. One of which is my wife's name on my chest, but had it done in Arabic writing just in case she binned me. Got a strange look from an Arabic looking gentleman in the swimming pool the other week however. I put it down to the fact I was semi naked and he fancied me, but there is doubt over the tattoo in all honesty. 4. I secretly fancy Tanya Branning from Eastenders. 5. I do all the cooking at home. My mam bought me a slow cooked for Xmas and have to admit - its brilliant.

    All I have read this year so far is the Game of Thrones books. At the fifth one now (books two and three are split in two) so it feels like I have read 6 books so far. Kinda looking forward to reading something else.

    This thread has gone way off topic. This is about Hibs' humiliation in the biggest Derby game ever. That said they did more than make up for it by beating Hearts 1-0 in a cup game that will no doubt lead Hibs to a Quarter Final defeat against some huddies.

    Just downloaded the new P&B app for my phone. Not sure if that will change anyone else's life, but thought I would share this with you all.

    Just had a roll and sausage. However I have stuck my broth in the slow cooker (another thread I know etc) and put my brisket in there too. Don't know whether to have roast tatties the night or mash though.
