  1. I gave up following him a couple of months ago. He was boring but managed to tweet non stop.
  2. I know it's probably totally wrong but his tweet the other day ... Peter Dow ‏@peterdow2 Jun @fineleggirl Yes but I'm a YOUNG & FIT 52. I work out, with weights & a basketball! Email me peterdow@talk21.com #Aberdeen #Scot ...had me in stitches all day. It neglects to say he is completely barking mad but a little further reading... Peter Dow ‏@peterdow3 Jun @nataliemcgarry's lovely thighs on show are winning the men's vote hand's down! YES-for-sex-with-Natalie! #newsnicht #indyref ...should clear that up for you.
  3. It's certainly something that's been playing on her mind.
  4. Definitely this. It's got me wondering, when the ladies all to the cinema together do they actually know what happened when they've come out ?
  5. Ricky Gervais tweet just now. Ricky Gervais ‏@rickygervais3m This is the second time I've left the BBC looking like this. The first time was when I was a kid, on Jim'll Fix It.
  6. Exactly. Printing that 'story' is an embarrassment and I'm guessing that the majority of Celtic fans would cringe reading it.
  7. Great thread this. Me and my ex were 5 years together so I took her out for a romantic meal. We were in a lovely Spanish restaurant and were splashing out a bit so I asked the waiter to give us a nice bottle of Rioja. He comes back and opens the bottle with a flourish and leaves it explaining that it had to breathe. He appears 10 minutes later and pours a bit for her to test and she gives a nod and a smile that the testing had gone well. He pours me a glass and explains that 1994 was a good year, it was 2002, and while I have a huge mouthful of wine she asks him when the sell by date is. I had wine coming out my nose.
  8. I fucking giggled at that. She is a star. @thingsonmynan
  9. Was chatting to an English pal today who asked "what's happened there ? " (at Ibrox) after hearing a snippet on SSN. It really is the most difficult thing to explain. You start with Whyte, then administration, then what came next with the D&P and the Blue Knights/other groups, then Chic Green and liquidation, Brown standing on the steps with his "where's the deeds ?" sketch and you think, there is not enough hours in the day to explain this without sounding mental and everybody has a colour which doesn't help. It makes it sound like you are commentating on a game of Cluedo. I gave up. I said, they're fucked.
  10. Hart will be joined by fellow non-executive directors Walter Smith, motors tycoon Bryan Smart and Phillip Cartmell, the former boss of a security firm. They will demand answers from Green before today’s match against Clyde. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-board-grill-chief-executive-1828656 US tycoon Bill Miller given preferred bidder statushttp://www.heraldscotland.com/mobile/news/home-news/rangers-us-tycoon-bill-miller-given-preferred-bidder-status.1336053995?_=20812b5742605a1c9d3f35d8f3eb8524745bd8b6 Scottish tycoon Craig Whyte appeared to move closer to a takeover of Rangers after an agreement over the club's debt was reached with Lloyds Banking Group. http://www.newsrt.co.uk/news/craig-whyte-on-verge-of-rangers-takeover-104063.html Charles Green sells up to bus tycoonhttp://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/394289/Charles-Green-sells-up-to-bus-tycoon MURRAYBAGS; Rangers Tycoon Rakes in Pounds 2.6m from His Empirehttp://www.questia.com/library/1G1-110496911/murraybags-rangers-tycoon-rakes-in-pounds-2-6m-from With King the club’s second biggest shareholder behind Whyte, the rumour mill went into overdrive about why he’s in Glasgow. The party line seems to be that the Scots-born tycoon was simply meeting administrators Duff and Phelps to help with their investigation. 11. The tycoon’s appointment was unanimously backed by fellow directors — despite reports that he was considered too close to predecessor Green, 59. Is there no normal rich people that want to give The Rangers money ?
  12. So, let’s fast forward to later this year. Craig Whyte is lifted. Now let’s fast forward again, this time to the early part of next year. A High Court Judge tells Craig Whyte he has been found guilty of perpetrating a massive fraud on one of Scotland’s most venerable institutions, adding that legally Craig Whyte never owned Rangers and that the Rangers shareholding should revert to the position it was in, in April 2011. Pandemonium! Let’s leave it to the most skilled and expensive of m’learned friends to work that one out and to come to an accommodation with those who are the current shareholders. For the moment, let us turn our attention to football matters. To what such a judgement would mean to the Stewart Regan-Peter Lawwell-Rod Petrie-SFA Axis and to the Neil Doncaster-Peter Lawwell-Eric Riley-Rod Petrie-SPL Axis. At a stroke it would nullify any crime committed against the law of the land or the rules of the football authorities during the period when Craig Whyte laid fraudulent claim to owning Rangers. So, no problem for Rangers with withheld PAYE and VAT, meaning no Administration. So, no ten point deduction by the SPL in February 2012. An action which gifted Celtic the title last season. And no Liquidation. Leading to no need for Rangers to apply for the transfer of their SPL share from Oldco to Newco and the SPL’s subsequent refusal. Meaning Rangers should have been competing in the SPL this season. Something which would also cast doubt on Celtic’s second successive title. Fucking superb, and this is from a Rangers man. No wonder they are fucked.
  13. I've tried this a few times with English lads asking what had actually happened and had the same problem. Once you start explaining just the basics as you understand them you realise this is an epic tale. The one thing that amazes some of them is that Mr. Charles Green is now in charge, a few more knowledgeable punters remember him from Sheffield United. The one thing that amazes me is how we managed to avoid him. He had all the nutty credentials to try and take over us.
  14. Wonderful. Just wonderful. On a Monday too.
  15. I didn't realise Ginger Teeth was a Dundee supporter. Hope he bought that scarf.
  16. To be fair it does look like it has started to jacknife.
  17. No idea what you should do except get professional help mate. Good luck.
  18. I'll bet he has an album's worth of recordings, him and Moonbeam, him and Haudit and Daudit and definitely him and Green. Maybe he'll bring out an album for Chraistmas.
  19. Wonder if there will be an interview with Charlie. alex thomson ‏@alextomoRangers and intimidation - victims speak exclusively to #c4newstomorrow
  20. Good to see Sir Craig getting this thread back on track. Apologies for this, I just chucked Sir Craig into a face in the hole thing because I couldn't resist the "Quatum"
