  1. In the previews of the WC Groups, Totally Football pissed all over Football Weekly IMO. FW format of just phoning up journos from each country felt rushed and didn't generate any debate.
  2. Folk need to chill the F out about signings and get into the World Cup spirit.
  3. I've had the same avatar since the day I joined the site. Don Hartley's magnificent facial hair is making a strong case for my first change though.
  4. Unlike yourselves, we don't had over cash to Nigerian Princes.
  5. The response from most posters on here has been fairly reasoned, but by f**k there are some roasters embarrassing themselves on Facebook and Twitter.
  6. Usually hedge the qualifying bet, but let it ride this time as I was confident on a high scoring match. £25 on over 2.5 pre-match then £25 on over 3.5 in-play. Nothing life-changing, but a win is a win.
  7. That fake Tweet about Hartley being given permission to speak to St Mirren got some amount of bites on the FB page
  8. Haven't been on here in over a week and doesn't look like I've missed much.
  9. Juve coasting this final 3-0. Two big errors from Donnaruma for the 2nd and 3rd goals.
  10. Barca's remaining fixtures are Villarreal H, Levante A and Sociedad H. You'd fancy them to do it.
  11. 4 minutes of standing about and I'm still not convinced that was the right decision. Howler of a pass from Buffon though.
  12. A handful of matches with the ill-informed and insufferable Gary Birtles on co-commentary. Haud me back.
  13. They've got Eredivise (which typically gets punted to the red button), MLS and Chinese Super League. Shocking value for money now that they've no La Liga. That said, I'm kinda glad they're losing it as their coverage was pretty poor outside of the big 4 sides. There was many a Saturday I'd be trying to watch Celta/Villarreal/Sevilla etc and they'd have the match on the red button with no pre or post-match stuff and a blank screen at HT whilst they showed a PL match on 3 different channels. I think it was to do with how they've restructured their packages, but a shambles nonetheless. Was hoping BT would buy the rights.
  14. They did the business and broke Basel's run of 8 in a row. AEK also won the Greek Super League to break Olympiakos' run of 7 titles. Decent week for ending dominant steaks in '1-team leagues'.
  15. That's now the 7th season where he's scored 30+ in La Liga.
  16. League done. Juve don't need a result in Rome now; they can win the title by bodying Bologna and Verona at home. Also think it's a bit harsh to say Napoli have bottled it. They could still finish on 93 points which would be the 4th best total since the format change to 20 teams and 3 points for a win. This Juve team are just ruthlessly efficient. Keeping pace with them and even leading the pack for so long is a feat in itself.
  17. Worth noting that this would be Inter's first defeat to anyone in the top 6 and only their second against the current top 10.
  18. That was a needless FK to give away
  19. Why is Allegri playing that dug at RB?
  20. Football Italia reporting that Chiellini is out for the rest of the season. Could be huge for the title race. Benatia and Rugani have generally been fine against the poorer sides in the league, but big tests coming in the aways to Inter and Roma. Howedes an option at CB too. ETA: Betfair has moved to pretty much bang on EVS for both teams in the outright betting.
  21. Somebody should get them altogether and we can have a vote on which is the most minterific. My personal favourite is the Club 1872 one about Lennon earlier this season.
