Very sorry to hear that Lewis Hill has not re-signed and has moved to The Gow. He will be missed. Scored a lot of important goals and excellent from the penalty spot. I wish him well.

Our experience shows that the majority of us revel in nostalgia so I do not see this happening. Fast forward to a year plus from now and there will be lots of posts about "remember when...", just like there are on FB with people recalling their school days and their former employers.

Scott Falconer back to fitness. Will be interesting to see if young Scott can make that step up. He has the potential but I'm not sure about the temperament. I think we'll be back playing by the autumn, at the latest. I hope so!

Andrew Gilchrist and Jordan Jeffrey been signed from Bellshill. We have been active.

Not that I am aware of. I suspect the current situation is making planning difficult. We did have Lanark United Centenary Gin created by The Dundee Gin Company. Believe the bottles have gone like hotcakes.

Pleased to report that virtually all of our squad have re-signed for next season. We have also signed someone called Marc (Sparky) McGinty from Lesmahagow amateurs, whom I am told has a good reputation. May have turned out a few times for Royal Albert? Also signed a lad called Aaron Neill that I have no knowledge of.

Some great place to revisit in the new set up. Although it is a trek I've always enjoyed going to Vale of Leven. Love the set ups at Kilsyth, Ardrossan and VoC. Like the banter with the St Ant's boys. Common knowledge that I hate the plastic so the bonus is there are only two in the division that play on it so it could be worse. Just have to be patient and hope that the boys are looking after themselves in the meantime.

We have re-signed a few but no new signings been announced at Lanark. Tough with so little funding around.

Gareth Hallford has also re-signed. Excellent news.

Pleased to read that we have retained our Management Team and our Captain, Cammy Lawson for whatever lies ahead and whenever that may be.

Gareth Hallford our current keeper ( I hope! ) is the best keeper we have had in the 15 years I have followed Lanark. We've had one or two not so good, who didn't last too long, fortunately but, I won't be naming any.

The Kello keeper sticks in my head. Saw him 3 times and was excellent every game, even the one that we put 7 past him.

I had to remind myself of where we were in the league table and was taken aback to see us sitting 2nd and you 1st! Whilst I knew things were going to change does anyone have any idea how the teams will be reconfigured?

I do realise there are hundreds of posts elsewhere on this subject but, being parochial, what does the recent developments around the Pyramid mean for our division? I haven't kept up and wondered if it was possible to summarise how we may look next season ( whenever that may be) ? Can I also say that I thoroughly enjoyed the season that has gone by. For example, I enjoyed my trips to Kello, which was a new experience. The food was great into the bargain. Apart from the Larkhall pie, the low point was the pumping we took from Perthshire and the highlight was deservedly beating Pollok away in the cup semi with an understrength team. I would love it if we could reconvene the same squad next season but realise that may well prove unlikely. Best wishes to everyone in the league and good luck in the future.
