  1. Wasn't it rumoured that Lafferty was on a huge bonus if Killie stayed up? I really hope that's true, the p***k.
  2. Gus McPherson, Steven McGinn, Paul McGowan, Charlie Adam, Paul McMullan, Danny Mullen... Anybody else want to borrow a former Saints player to boss a playoff final?
  3. I've mentioned him a few times recently since I saw he was OOC. I think he fits Jim's bill perfectly, tbh.
  4. Over-inflating our players' values has become something of a trope on here; it's mainly to wind up randomguy, tbh.
  5. This. I mentioned further up the thread that I felt there was potentially a lot riding on this call-up, in terms of showing JM himself, plus other players, that we provide enough of a window for players to get calls.
  6. I think the fact that you ended up completely strolling it will means you will get to look back on it fondly. I still get a knot in my stomach thinking about our playoff games against United. Two utterly irredeemable games and a fleeting few minutes of penalty success is not good for the heart. Genuine congrats on staying up, though. I'm sure you can't have been thrilled at the idea of having to go to such obscure places as *checks notes* Falkirk next season.
  7. I'm quite looking forward to the game; that jammy Killie goal has cued things up very nicely for the neutral. Prediction: Dundee to come firing out the traps and take an early lead, but Killie to regroup, get a first half equaliser, before absolutely laying siege to Dundee's goal. A late winner (on the day) takes the match to extra time and then penalties.
  8. Thread's gone off the rails a wee bit. Dee fans do need to bear in mind that a lot of Saints still harbour a good deal of bitterness towards them after they poached Jack Ross that time.
  9. Congratulations guys. One hell of an effective team Davidson has put together. You're the third best team in the country right now IMO. Imagine if you'd got up to speed a little faster this season...
  10. Hibs are gopping here. Every first touch is bouncing into the air, so many passes too long or heavy. Classic Jack Ross showpiece event performance, tbh.
  11. Yeah, it was a good interview. I think Stephen Kenny could do us a favour and call him up on Monday. If he sees he can be selected for the RoI while playing for Saints, that'd be a huge plus.
  12. This is precisely the sort of stability we should be craving. Those mad 12-in, 12-out transfer windows are fine for entertainment, but absolutely brutal in terms of progressing as a team. Yes, we may face bids for McGrath, and maybe one or two others, but hitting the end of the season with the bulk of a decent squad signed up already is absolutely massive given the social turmoil of the past 14 months, not to mention our usual haphazard squad retention.
  13. Outstanding news. Prone to the odd lapse but absolutely no doubting his overall quality and leadership. Well happy with this.
  14. Dundee absolutely need to approach the next game like they approached most of tonight's. Those balls dropping just in behind the defence were causing no end of bother; the chasing and harrying was causing Killie trouble and they were seriously rattled for most that game. If they go to Rugby Park trying to protect a lead, though, I'd fear for them. Killie's (only?) strength is whipped balls into the box - give them time and space to do that and it'll be a long evening.
  15. Surprised at the Danny Mullen dislike. He not worked out for you guys, then? Lots of Saints fans still rate him and would still have him back, probably not correctly. Hard not to be rooting for Dundee when your front four are ex-Saints. Even if Ultimate Shitebag McMullan is one of them.
