  1. This is neither the time nor the place for your views on physically assaulting women.
  2. Absolutely nuts (but entirely typical) that they would even attempt to get this introduced after the season has started and after postponements have occurred. I'm not saying clubs should go unpunished, but they certainly can't decide what the punishment should be after the fact. Would be interesting to know if any clubs voted in favour - Accies and Well, presumably - given this really could impact any team at any point still.
  3. Eight red dots is bullshit: he gave me 50 since his account appeared on Saturday.
  4. Yeah, completely agree. Though I do strongly suspect a quiet word has already been had; the authorities remain in a difficult position over the lack of action taken towards other clubs earlier in the season and it is very much in their interests to not have to dole out any significant punishments to any member clubs over this (assuming our transgressions have been in the 'borderline' category.) It makes far more sense for all parties if the SPFL can conclude its investigation with a suspended fine and a satisfied nod towards the action that we have taken to improve matters.
  5. https://www.stmirren.com/all-news/3803-chief-executive-statement Lots of words. No way we were doing this if we hadn't made mistakes; I suspect we've agreed to take action after talks with the authorities.
  6. If he hadn't scored then Hearts would still have been 12th. They were 4 points behind Accies. FFS! Cheers. There ya go!
  7. Slight pedant point: had Obika not scored, it would have been Hamilton in 12th.
  8. It's actually difficult to tell. The league has been very slow with its investigations; the Killie one came (what seemed like) ages after their missed game. I'm not aware that we have previously been investigated, so I would imagine we had an investigation coming as a result of the Well call-off, and now it's been ramped up because of the Accies game. tl;dr - I think this is the first actual investigation, but it's a biggie.
  9. If they've been lax about this then we deserve to be hauled over the coals for it and, IMO, points forfeits would be reasonable (as long as it's applied fairly and, if necessarily, retrospectively too). But 'blame' for contracting Coronavirus is very dodgy ground. I know he's an idiot, but even Boris Johnson got it. I guess if they have specific proof that protocol has been repeatedly breached, then we're in trouble, but it's more likely to be a fine, I reckon.
  10. If St Mirren play in an empty stadium, does the booing make a sound?
  11. I'm not being argumentative, as neither of us is in possession of all the facts, but it could equally be the case that it's only because we're taking it seriously that we're getting the positive tests. Ie we have rigorous testing in place and are doing it properly and carefully. I'd expect the teams that aren't taking protocol seriously to be reporting fewer positive tests. Possibly. As I said, pure speculation.
  12. Mate, what's with the red dots? That's about 60 you've given me in the past week or so. Let me know if you've got an issue - feel free to drop me a DM - otherwise give it a fucking rest.
  13. Thanks mate. Actually, he genuinely does share a name with your keeper. Rohan arrived in the early hours of this morning. Everyone is doing well. Sadly, because he arrived on Sunday, I'll never be able to tell him that he was born on the same day we stormed to an improbable draw against a team the league below us who hadn't yet had a pre-season.
