  1. The whole thing is such a god-awful small affair... And speaking of which:
  2. I think that was what inspired my post, tbh. He really set about Hearts and put a real shift in. He'll never be prolific, IMO, but we've seen that's not necessarily our model for a forward anyway (as nice as it might be to have).
  3. I've got a feeling we'll be looking to Alex Greive to step up into the first choice works-hard-but-rarely-scores forward role next season. Opposition fans almost always refer to him as a handful, and he's probably good for 6-7 goals a season if he starts more games. He doesn't hold the ball up as well as Main, but, frankly, who does?
  4. I had two long-term exes and both their mothers were fucking awful human beings. You've got to take it into account.
  5. Seeing that goal again, there are more than a few similarities with Newton's goal in 2013. I'm not saying they're identical, but the give and go, the ball through, the run on and the finish across the laces to the keeper's near side... Both beautiful moments etched in my memory forever.
  6. f**k no, remember that Falkirk meeting? I can't even remember the gist now but that was the last time anybody was talking about them for reasons other than getting pumped in the third tier.
  7. 350k/400k will do it. He's worth more, probably about 750/800k, if he was on a longer deal.
  8. Thing with that was they only started battling after they'd been relegated.
  9. This is the big relegation thread and I therefore demand a big relegation. County going down just won't cut it. United straight down and St Johnstone to lose to Partick in the playoffs, please. That'd be a big relegation.
  10. This. Empathy of their situation is making the relegation fight absolutely riveting.
  11. Still gutted about that, but pleased we have stood toe-to-toe with Hearts this season. 5 points each beats the four defeats we took last season. We we largely the better side across the four games, too. Hearts very fortunate to take two points away from Paisley, IMO. Clear sign of progress on our part, and for balance probably a sign of slight regression on theirs. But it shows we belong at this table. Ah well. Sixth it is, unless the OF teams really decide to chuck it now and we pull some mad results out the hat.
  12. FFS man. Absolute sickener that. Soft penalty but I think it was correct. f**k.
  13. Yeah, can't believe Halliday didn't get booked for that challenge in the first 5 minutes or so. About as stonewall as a challenge gets. Then Taylor gets (rightly) booked for a challenge on Oda, who does the same thing to Tanser two minutes later but it's not a booking. Absolutely fucking bizarre tbh.
  14. 2-0. Unreal stuff this. Been well on top so far, tbh.
  15. Just dipped back onto BAWA. It's been so long that it wasn't even coming up as auto-complete on my phone. The place is a state. I wish I had the time and headspace to get that involved in shite like this. I mean, I still wouldn't, but it'd be nice to have the time.
  16. Seems to have come onto a game at Morecambe. ~1 goal in 3, give or take. I wasn't aware he'd played for you, tbh. Also, all of this is moot because he won't be signing for us.
  17. @Hearts fans - we're just making a quick tweak to the pitch as Aberdeen seem so keen to get involved here hope that's cool.
  18. Aye, it's not flattering. Based on his goals, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's more Mark Yardley than Callum Ball.
  19. Yeah, still pulling through to Google. Neat demonstration of why you can't trust Wikipedia.
