It's a readable biography examining centuries of myths, half-truths and lies.
Half way through and it's staggering how much we don't know about him, more staggering is the bullshit that people make up about him 'under research'.
I started reading it yesterday. The same day he was born, St Georges day. Well actually we don't know that, we do know he was christened on 26th April, so why not make his birthday the same as St George's Day, excellent.
Unfortunately in 1564 England had the Julian calendar, meaning he was born on the 3rd May

How much did you tip the attendant for helping you out?
Let's just say, we don't tip in Thai countryside.
Not that day or anyother.

I see in the WOSFL Beith may win the league, however they are not eligible for the playoff and no team will take their place.
Would this happen if one of the B teams won the LL.
Playoff between HL champs and team 42, straight off the bat.

I always pick up money if it's on the ground, as little as 1 baht.
I even dropped 5 baht-10p at the garage a few weeks ago and it fell into a shallow drain with a grill.
The pump attendant saw this and went and got a guy to remove the grill so I could get my cash back.
I can buy 10 litres of drinking water for that amount.

You should've paid it, then invoiced them for their stay during a peak holiday time.
Oh this was very much my point before the 2 got horsed out the front door.

My old boss from about a decade ago was ex-Royal Engineers and his work ethic was unreal. His thought process when going into any job was always well thought out, logical and made perfect sense.
It's kind of rubbed off on me too, if I have to go to a site I'm there sharp, having planned and prepped and made sure I've got everything I need to complete the job and I plan for if I won't finish the job or run into issues or problems when I'm there. That all sounds like common sense, but for the majority of gimps I've worked with, in various jobs over the years, it isn't. You'd be amazed how many folk would go to a job alone or with me, and be completely underprepared for it, run into issues and have to go back another day to finish it. When I worked with this guy from the Army that never happened once, nor does it ever happen to me when I'm on a solo trip.
You'll love it here.
Every morning, is like a 30 man new recruits Monday, nobody knows what to do, no plan no f**k all.
I've worked in 6 different places here, they are all the same.

1994/95 new year, I stayed in Solihull and for 4 days over new year, her sister came and stay with her boyfriend.
On their arrival the presented us with a food hamper. BRILLIANT, cheese bottle of wine, steak pie the works...
As I said, they stayed 4 days, they never bought anything else during their time, 4 days. Booze, food, drugs...nothing.
On their last day, just before they were to head off, he handed me a receipt. It was for 50 English pounds. Asked for half, for the hamper.
No they never got it and they never returned.
