I like how their going down the cyber attack route. Which actually makes it sound even worse.
Bob Steely, saying "this is the life of a modern politician".
Well, no Bob, it really isn't.
Sending knob photos of yourself to strangers, then handing them phone numbers. Is this what modern politician do in their spare time?

Does not compute. The packet gets bashed until the packet is gone.
I never dinghied your PM.
I put out some due diligence. Sent the scouts out as they say.
You shat it!

If you ever find yourself in a relationship with someone who feels the need to break into your phone then leave.
I must also say, if you ever find yourself in a relationship ship where you feel the need to cheat then leave then also.

He said the rumour is the next team to go isn’t a league 2 club, Edinburgh City’s financial issues would make you assume they could go out the game…
misread, apologies to all that were effected. must do better.

I would have thought, in this instance i.e Edinburgh City go bust, no relegation from League One and 2 up from League two (Champions + winners of 3 way play off). Then - maybe - no relegation from League Two and LL and HL champions promoted. Or have I messed up the arithmetic?
11 team league
i'd just think the only difference would be HL/LL playoff winner is promoted

Edinburgh City are not a League 2 club.

Wouldnt have thought that would be allowed.
Wonder how the parents want it pronounced, if it's the traditional way G-had or if J-had is about to be wandering about to everyone's bafflement.
The word has been hijacked by extremists in resent years.

I listened to the phone-in and was a bit disappointed. The question that should have been asked of those opposed to the Act was 'what view, (or subject matter or approach to it) is it that you think you could have said yesterday without breaking the law that you think you can't say today?"
(Not looking for P&Bers to incriminate themselves in replies to this, btw.)
Generation Woke will not be allowed to say the word 'boomer'.
Hate word against a certain age group.

Coll was based in Pakistan and Afghanistan in the '90s for the Washington Post so he witnessed what happened there first hand. He also talks about the conflicts Iraq engaged in through the '80s, '90s and '00s. His aim seems to be to educate Americans on the history leading up to USA's interventions in Afghanistan then Iraq. He points out that polling at one point showed three quarters of Americans thought Saddam Hussein had done 9/11. Also mentioned is the complete incoherence of USA's (especially the Republican Party's) attitude towards Iran. Despite Iran firmly being on the same side as USA in both the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, they still somehow found themselves in Bush's Axis of Evil. Tony Blair gets discussed too.
Thanks for that.
One thing I disagree with, no country has used chemical weapons from the ww1 to 1983 Iraq.
Some south east Asian countries may say otherwise.

I sleep in an over hundred year Thai house, no mod cons, nothing. mattress is about 15cm thick on a wooden floor. Mosquito ned and fan.
Wake up when about sunrise every morning, no creeks or soreness.
it helps when it 27 degrees at 6am for sure.
However, when I do sleep in a hotel with aircon, mattress like cloud, I feel fucking shit the next day.
Maybe these 110 yo Monks talk shite, but over pampered it also shite.
Doesn't help Scotland weather 23 degrees here during January and my knuckles my hand started to seace. started a bonfire in the garden to heat up.

Retirement was the best thing I ever did - wish I'd done it when I was 18.
i retired when I was 30. Joined a golf club and member Monday medel.
Got bored very quickly, so fucked off round the world 2 times.
First time was staying in facey hotels, second time. I put a wee bit of thought into it.
Volunteering/culture/getting to know the locals, away from the tourist traps.
Went back to work to help the local community, after I settled.
Now look forward to retiring....
If you ask me, how could do that at 30. i made a successful, distribution and logistics business, since 4th at school. Did it for 15 year, most die (like my friends), but if you keep the heed and save, there is a way out.

By all accounts they got a 2 minute warning from the ship captain and stopped all traffic from from crossing the bridge. That's some effort and well done. Unfortunately 6 workers on the bridge came to their fate.
I'd imagine there were barriers stopping vehicles.
Does the scottish bridges have barriers?
I remember the Forth Road bridge having them.
