  1. As this is just about home travel distance for me might hold getting a ticket until team lines are out and Broadfoot is confirmed as a sub.

Then again we have the ticket allocation, while in recent years I have happily sat in the stand will need to get there early to get a seat with a view.

Oh the dilemma of following the Ton.

In reality we need to accept getting 5th is a decent outcome so 3pts needed here. I don't get to pick the team but other than know it needs new legs so time to bench Broadfoot, Power and Crawford.

Telling that Morton are the dirtiest team in the SPFL by far on 96 yellows, they have the top 3 individual players in the Championship, Power 10, Broadfoot and Muirhead on 9, add in French and Crawford on 8.

Sadly Muirhead and French don't help our numbers as most are for complaining to the referee about some foul or decision not going their way.

To be fair Power and Broadfoot are too slow and are easily caught out on the plastic surfaces,  not sure why we start them in these games.

Airdrie's quick breaks coupled with two once in a season finishes put us in real trouble but we did have three good opportunities to reduce the deficit before half time.

Why Jack Baird didn't get a red in that fight I am lost for words. Maybe no, as Robertson usually looks to VAR to help with decisions.

  3. On a more serious note. What's the parking arrangements.

Last time I visited I parked in the local scheme but palls who know the area say not a good idea.

Also I remember neds ( not actual Airdrie  supporters ) chucking stones at vehicles on the way out.

Just got my insurance renewal up 65% with 10+ no claims and don't fancy incurring additional costs.

    So what's the best parking?

You guys will be pleased to hear Sincy the hatchet man is unlikely to be playing on Saturday so Oakley will be safe this time.

This is good news as I would have expected Oakley to stick one on his and get a red card ending any chance we have of making 8th.

Pray for no rain so Strapp doesn't have to dry the ball with his wee towel every time he takes a throw. Bloody ridiculous the amount of time this guy is allowed to faff about.

Well forecast looks like you might get those prayers answered.

Seems like opposition fans have moved on from the big bad Morton team to the time wasters with Strapp TI's the new target to get refs attention.

If it helps we should have dry spare balls on each side ready for Strapp to utilise.

As an aside my big mate from Barrow is up to attend tomorrow and he reminded me that he has never witnessed a Ton defeat.

    So 2 v 2 likely outcome.

Get the need for changes but hopefully a week off will freashing the boys up, but Broadfoot needs benched. Watching him trying to get back last week brought tears to my eyes.

  6. I say inside the box and I was inline with the event. ( happy to be proved wrong on Utube)

Would have merited a gold in diving, so good save probably a fair outcome.

The boy Hosler was a pain in the arse all day and planted the short cross on a  spot the leftback couldn't miss from.

Well we need a confidence boost or we might be lucky to get 8th spot.

  7. Expect improved Dunfermline team assuming injury list has improved.

Not sure that win over DU is any reflection of how it will go other than they are one of the poorest DU teams to grace the Championship so well done on that.

For us we need to find a striking solution if Oakely doesn't start or just plays off the bench. More width is needed and Bearne should get 60 mins to see if he can be the solution.

Power to start with Gillespie on after 60/65 minutes. Broadfoot back to the bench.

As for results we need two home wins in the next two weeks to contend for fourth spot, although you never know in this league.

With a £100,000 reward on offer for each league spot, better than 8th will make a great difference to our squad budget next year and help us get through these injury periods. As would not signing guys susceptible to injury and generally only available for 20 games season.

  8. Think it will be OF pushing this.

While these pitches offer additional use and community use they do effect how the game is played.

So OF wish to remove any perceived advantage to others. Just like Hearts reducing OF away supporters numbers.

Not sure if their training pitches are grass and artificial.

As for recycling, Ralston golf club got the old St Mirren training surface and has used for walkways.

That's other results been going almost entirely our way for about 3 weeks now, really need to start capitalising.

Yes this and other factors like teams suffering from injuries like ourselves.

What we know in the Championship is that teams operate on smaller budgets and even like some BIG PL teams will suffer when key players are injured.

We are currently suffering because we have no striking back up.

So let us all hope that big George recovers and comes back soon and that Jai also recovers and gives us options.

Never in doubt. Not for a fraction of a split-second were the Good Guys (Hearts) in danger of anything other than a comfortable victory.

What an embarrassment Morton are. Chucking themselves to the floor at every opportunity, praying for throw-ins to fling aimlessly towards their cast of lumbering oafs in the box. Hopefully they can be retrospectively ejected from the Scottish Cup for sullying it with their odious presence. DELIGHTED that I can once again forget that they exist.

    What a fanny.

    Sorry probably never encountered one.

Thanks for the real hearts supporters who made it a great night.

  11. Fuckinng gutted in Lanzarote

Had to endure Chelsea game and Ton updates.

Fu#k thought this was a free week and Ayr way,  which I enjoy.

When done to everyone in the team a great performance when missing important players.

Look let's get real, a payoff spot is a great achievement to let's rock from Saturday.

Lost in LC at Ibrox , shit led led after 55 mins.

Got to 1/4 finals of Scottish cup.

    A great season , let's go top 4 spot.

The issue there of course was stopping it in the first place when Carragher was obviously at it, as proven by leaping to his feet for a square go as soon as the whistle went, when the ball was about to drop to Crawford unmarked for a shot

While most of us didn't know the rule, must have been one of the few times the ref got a call right.

Thought he went down blocking the ball, but as always will need the benefit of the highlights to check that and also see the disallowed goal again. Had Crawford's header went the other side of the post moments earlier might have stole a point if it had counted.

Bit like Tuesday needed a centre forward and a goalie.

Disappointed in McGrattan , having backed him all season, time to give Bearne a start and see if in can impact the start of a game.

The Morton fans are desperate for this one to be called off. Losers' mentality.

Eh! where you getting that from.

While we dominated play v Raith, we little penetration in final third.  We missed Oakley, but Muirhead I suspect will be match fitter on Saturday and will offer more.

Like all Championship games never a given. Only need to look at last night as Arbroath do just about everyones forecasts.
