Agreed. Its been evident in the past as well when Browns injured the effort and tempo of others seem to drop off. Tierney seems the type who will take over that responsibility though.
Biton has his faults but is still a handy player, especially for Europe. Its evident that him and Brown cant play in the same midfield as it slows down the attack but both on their own are fine.
And he's away according to SSN. Had he kept himself fit he could have played a couple of games this season with lack of strikers so only himself to blame really. Another fringe player off the books for now.
Our top wage right how is probably about 25 grand. Even if we went to 30 he could easily get 50 down south. Cant really blame him to be honest. Only way I can see him signing is with a release clause and a hefty cut of the fee for him.
I think if we was signing he would have done it at the very latest before the start of the season. If Swansea offer 6 take it and run. I think hes just going to run it down though for a massive signing on fee.
I would like him to stay but centre mid is the only position you could say we are Covered in so no need to worry about rushing out to buy anybody.
Panning aside, the arse must have fallen out the price of land a bit in Aberdeen a bit, Im wondering if there might be more plots now that financially viable.
For a very limited footballer hes had quite a decent career. A guy who gave his all and that season where I think he got in to double figures for us was he was fantatstic. Strachan would often play him when half fit though which was rediculous given he wasnt the most mobile.
It would be a good appointment not just for Hearts but for Scottish football. However he does have than Alan Partridgesque element about him that makes us laugh at him on here nearly as much as we laugh at you.
