  1. Yeah I know hes not the youngest but Im more convinced mainly that he will make more of an impact due to his position more than anything else. When we signed Allan and Christie we already had Rogic and Commons vying for that one playmaker role. I certainly didnt see any sense in Allan as he was a renowned sh*tebag and cant really play anywhere else. Christie seems to have a better attitude and is also more versatile so can still make it yet. Morgan has been very impressive in the 2 games I have seen him play, seems to have a knack of scoring in important games too.
  2. I wasn’t particularly excited by Christie or Allan but some reason I am more hopeful over this one. I kind of hope the Saints do go up as well as if he’s not getting games with us after he comes in the summer he can go back for a bit and get some premiership experience. I belive hes scored 13 goals already this season, pretty impressive for a young winger.
  3. I did read the article. All I got from it was one chairman was for it and the other against it. Your claim about Alex Fletcher makes no sense as they still continued to use Hampden, and no Government money was used for the refurbishment of Ibrox as far as I am aware. Your rambles and claims are getting rather speculative. I know Celtic and Rangers like to get blamed for a lot in Scottish football but in this case it was Tory cuts. They even wanted to shut the place down in the early 90s as well.
  4. Murrayfield is an option, other smaller stadiums are available depending on demand sp the evening argument doesnt really matter. Regarding the glasgow derby issue, for a start Scottish police is now under one body so 'Lothian Police' will be unable to shirk it really. For Edinburgh derbys one set of fans get on at one line whilst the other get the other line through to Glasgow so never cross paths, same would happen for this. Pubs would be segragated outside the ground I imagine as well. Any issues you have pointed out are very much avoidable. ETA what the f*ck has the article on Tories pulling funding got to do with Celtic or Rangers?
  5. Would be a good enough experience to send him there. For a 21 year old though he's already played abroad, got a league medal, instumental in winning a scottish cup. Hes out of contract in the summer now but I cant see him signing a new deal after having A taste of all that and still not playing regularly.
  6. Apparently we have signed 17 year old aussie winger Leo Mazi, sounds like a fake name on Pro Evolution soccer for Messi. Benyu away to Oldham on loan, folk also after Kouassi and Henderson. We are pretty over run with central midfielders so at least one should go.
  7. He was having a purple patch then yes. I also really liked seeing him playing for Livi as his vision was a cut above most in the SPL. His professionalism though was sub par, even by mediocre Scottish football levels. Which is why as much as you dont want to see a player injured, why should I be bothered about his career if he clearly wasnt that fussed either. My other point was the challenge itself. It was bad yes but really just mistimed and have seen far far worse attempts in Scottish football, unfortunately for Fernandez this one effectively ended his career.
  8. I suggested that may be able to rent the office space yes. Given how long it would take to get planning permission for houses etc (should QP sell the land) I dont think it would be out of the question whilst they try to source other offices. I accept In the long term Queens Park would most likely be unable to survive with the white elephant and would have to sell the ground. I also accept Queens Park has a long history but trying to keep them at Hampden shouldnt be a the behest of the progression of the national game. I was the guy lambasting the SFA and wouldn't trust them to be in charge of rebuilding Hampden therefor a move away from it would make more sense for me. We have other stadiums in Scotland that are better for atmosphere and transport so why play at an inferior ground?
  9. Im not a fan of Jura these days as I find it too bland now as I find most of them too bland but I am quite intrigued to try the 21 yo. I do have a 16yo Diurachs own in the house which is decent. Been drinking a fair bit of Aberlour Abunadh over festive period. It really is becoming my go to whisky. Due to my whisky cupboards becoming full I asked not be given any whisky for xmas but was given a Deanston 12 (another one of my faves) and Dalwhinnie gold. For a base NAS whisky its decent enough.
  10. Used to work with somebody who knew him and his family from childhood, said he was a renowned shitebag. Did think he was a cracking keeper though, thought he could play at a higher level to be honest.
  11. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/gordon-strachan-urges-sfa-ditch-11781934 Bit of a hate figure right now but he makes a decent point from a players point of view.
  12. Whilst I admit 500 grand isnt enough comparing his amount to Ntcham is a strange one Ntcham came through the well known youth set up at Le Havre in france before being sold to Man City. Hendry came throught atThistle before being sold to.........Wigan. He, like Ntcham couldnt get a game at his club so he got punted to lower league english teams whilst Ntcham went on loan to Serie A team Genoa. Their progress has been worlds apart and Ntcham is also younger. That is why their values will differ vastly.
  13. Didn't realise Boyd scored again last weekend, he seems to have put on more weight than I have over the festive period which is unprofessional as it is hillarious.
  14. That was my thinking, yous signing him is probably just as important as Hibs not signing him (if that makes sense). Regarding length of deal I think he will contribute even once his legs go a bit as hes not just a pace merchant.
  15. Thats where I think Nearly all the votes would come from. I don’t know why they throw a hissyfit usually at the mention of his (Caldwells) name. Fernandez was at the tail end of his career after picking up two pay off packages as he wasnt the most professional, he looked like he put on about two stone at Celtic. It was a horribly mis timed challenge by Caldwell but I cant have too much sympathy for him. Apparently hes a scout for Man City now according to wiki?
  16. Didnt realise that, always thought it was the same place. Their Tailfire is rather nice
  17. Yeah thats whats happened here I dont think even you believe that tbh. At the end of the day QP where in a position of strength as the other option would have meant a significant loss of revenue for us. They had every right to f*ck off demands but lets not pretend the rejection of the flag was to piss McCann off given that he wasnt exactly fussed about the whole irish history himself.
  18. I'm guessing the CP rebuild would have been more phased, clause was a bit hunesque though tbh.
  19. 1. I would imagine you could all play them off against each other to get the best deal for the SFA so their may be value to be had. 2. Relocation of offices is hardly going to be a major cost. They may be even able to negotiate the office space at Hampden on its own. 3.loss of Ed Sheerin, an obituary I would like to see. 4. One lot get on at Central, the other queen st. Then get off at Waverly or Haymarket. I think this is standard practice for Ediburgh derbys at Hampden?
  20. Im guessing you havent been to Parkhead for a while. As for Ibrox yes its in bad nick but I would rather have a shitpit has some decent atmosphere than the ‘new’ soulless hampden, I also find it easier to get in and out from.
  21. As in the ones in charge of developing it (SFA). They cant run their own organisation correctly so I dont want them dishing out contracts for constuction.
  22. Thats a fair point, a refurbished stadium is out of the question for me though. It will be largely the same types that built the last piece of sh*te.
