Heads Gone (The 8MileBU Awards)
gannonball replied to Mon Dieu's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
WTF has happened in the accies thread? Skondoras gets a 5 game ban which is quite light given the circumstances imo, now their talking about boycotting the BBC over their reporting if it? Are they being genuine or am I am being wooshed? Utterly bizarre. -
Can’t sympathise too much with Aberdonian taxi drivers. Used to come off the rigs where you would be picked up sometimes in a bloody 7 series, their rates were far higher than I was used too and then they started to plead poverty when the oil price slumped. Probably shouldn't have spunked it on a high end BMW lease when a skoda would have sufficed.

He only got one more? Anderson was fantastic at Aberdeen but really never got the chance to prove himself a level above due to injury. No disgrace on anybodys part really.

Vignals a strange one, does he have a scottish missus or something? -
Murrayfield is half grass/synthetic so its not out of the question. Surely Hampden pitch could be marked the same as lesser Hampden for Queens games?

Just bought Balblair 91 glasgow airport exlcusive. Nearly bought it last month but shat out of buying it as it was 235 pound. Glad I did as it was reduced to 175 this time. Sent from my LG-H840 using Pie and Bovril mobile app

Some of the supposed problems with redeveloping Pittodrie are hillarious. Nearly as funny as funny as some of the Kingsford ones. If they do build the new stadium at Kingsford , it will be most likely dull and souless so can't argue it doesn't fit in with Aberdeen city itself. Motherwell FC - A Thread For All Seasons

My take on Ciftci: There is talent there but I seriously question what motivation he has left. When we had Griffiths and Dembele injured at the start of the season he was nowhere to be seen. Thought it was strange as Rodgers isnt the type to freeze a player out. We found out why when he came on in a friendly against Sunderland and he looked at least a stone over weight. Hes the type of player who needs to be playing regularly too as his touch can go very quickly when not. Because of that in hindsight he was never going to make it at Celtic as he will never be good enough to be considered an automatic starter and not able to be an impact player either. -

Much more fun when you read that bit in a Partridge voice as well. -

Im calling absolute sh*te on this one too. Only one club really were interested and would know they have them over a barrel given their financial situation and the guy being out the picture. Why on earth would they offer the full amount of wages and fee they paid? -
How you choose one player over the other when dont even play the same position?

Panic bought an 8 pack in Lidl, which is strange as Im not fussed about fizzy juice.

Very true but I believe he can play that role well in time. Brown struggled a bit when he first came. He admitted in his book he struggled with the extra fitness required to play a dozen more games or so per season. His attacking threat was lessened as there were better than him at it. This happens all the time (See Keane at Man u for well a known example). It was always going to happen with Brown as he can’t pass a long ball nor is his shooting great. I really hope we do sign Mcginn as Brown wont be around forever and would like Mcginn to learn off him for a year or two. If any sort of bidding war happens though we wont get him. I think Mcginn would get an easier ride too than Brown did as they knew how long it took him to really settle but now he is loved by everyone so may afford a bit more time for Mcginn.

Yeah it has grown me a bit since I got it a while ago but the bang/buck ratio imo is what the man below me is talking about... I have heard folk talk about this but I have loved every one I have tried. The earlier ones when I did a taste test were slightly better but Im guessing due to the success of it they churn ones out a bit younger now.

Drinking glenfarclas105 now, a lot of people love it and I am a glen farclas but Im not over fussed about it.

So hes wasting his career to work with better coaches and players, play in a higher league, possibly Europe then maybe in two years move to a club probably still bigger than St.Mirren. How is that wasting your career exactly? -

I think its less of a risk Due to his attitude and professionalism. Ciftci and Allan always had questions over these attributes. If it doesnt work out for Morgan we will most likely make a profit. -
Im up 50%* from my previous year GD its pretty evident I know what I am doing thanks. *Kind of. In all seriousness I do also have an investment ISA with my bank but havent really used it years. Might set up a DD to cuck money in that.

Last year Instead of spunking money on bets I started investing using the trading Direct app. Currently trading at a 50% loss, therefore up about 50% from my betting. WINNING.

Talisker is a bit more peaty than Highland park. I would recommend that if you like HP. Not a fan of Chivas Regal as find it too bland now but if you like Haig you might like it,comes on offer quite a lot too. Haig club is a grain whisky so you might want to try other scottish grain whiskies.

Best being quiet Romeo, you will lose any debate you have with him, he reads the Sun and everything. ETA - I think Murphy will be a decent signing. A good replacment for Miller in his workrate, hes never been a massive goalscorer however.
