  1. Lasley did actually have some ability unlike other known hatchet men like Goodwin. However the older he got the more his legs went and the dirtier he seemed to be. I believe this was his best moment though....
  2. Its not as Aberdeen aren't due any development fee. We basically have agreed a development fee in advance and are most likely picking up his wages.
  3. Absolutely bizarre that Norwich have agreed to this. I dont rate him much but play getting money for him and basically seeing out his contract.
  4. Yeah I quite like to try the 12 of any distillery I come across as a standard. Deanston and Bunnahabhain are my two favourites I have found.
  5. Yeah its the same with Dembele,Class player but question marks over their ability to hit top level fitness on a regular basis.
  6. I tried in the pot still last as it was MOTM a few weeks back, wasnt impressed. Love the deanston 12 though.
  7. Apparently Rogic out till March now. Bit of a blow that as he didnt look out of place in the champions league so he will be missed for the Zenit games. Roberts should be fully fit by then though.
  8. North and south to walk under same fleg...
  9. I have heard of parent clubs writing in to a loan contract that should the player not play the club has to pay a larger contribution. Cant see that being too standard though. Strangely we were linked with Hyndman towards the end of last season after he got injured, think it was papers just stirring it though
  10. Very true, the guy is a trumpet. He does most likely write more about you lot than Celtic. He gets quite a lot of abuse about from Celtic fans more because of the name of the blog. He actually bought the blog off a guy I know and turned in it to h*n obsessed ramblings.
  11. It is a bit of a shame as he hasnt done a great deal wrong. Hes your old school hoofball defender though so doesnt fit in Rodgers plans. I see its a loan, not a bad idea I suppose as if he can get a game at the world cup his value could increase in the summer.
  12. Nope. I have said not having competition was a factor. Read my posts. I was arguing there were many other ones, some more significant. Anyway this is getting repetitive and tedious where you are repeating the same thing and I am having to repeat my points which are being constantly ignored.
  13. Ah so I didnt mention crowds were already generally on the decline for the best part of a decade, an unknown manager, Lawell pulling the strings, absolute sh*te signings,no champions league. My bad......
  14. I was meaning more in financial terms. I am aware Celtic fans and many other scottish football fans do have an interest in Sevco but nowadays its more for the comedy aspect, not the competitive.
  15. You have basically just repeated your two points again despite me providing pretty valid reasons against them? I see you have no counter argument so good night to you.
  16. Their absence left us with a free run at the Champions league, the group stages alone is worth 3 times that, which we failed to reach for several years. Basically not having them there anymore could have actually benefited us financially if we thought a bit bigger. But yes having extra competition would have been a factor, the apparent behaviour of the Sevco directors at Hampden in the semi was also a reason allegedly why Desmond loosened the purse strings. Appointing a proven manager took care of both those issues. The champions league though is worth far more though than the rivalry now so essentially we have bigger fish to fry now. We wouldnt have needed a man of Brendans Caliber just to take care of Sevco imo.
  17. Using gates to prove your pile of sh*te opinion doesnt really make sense given our crowds on a whole have been on a decline since MON days really. We also closed part of an upper stand after Deila was appointed from what I can remember which was two years after Rangers Died. This was largely due to Deila being a underwhelming choice and chronic underinvestment in the team. We were signing sh*te like Carlton Cole,Richards etc on a free ffs. We were utterly rudderless with Lawell basically running the show. Should Deila have won that semi final against Sevco and won the double you may have seen a a slight increase in crowds with supposed increased competition but I think we all know the reason why crowds came up significantly. Brendan Rodgers. Interest in Season ticket sales only went up when he was announced. Your argument is pretty much invlaid. I did hate Rangers but I cant bring myself to hating Sevco quite yet tbh, despite the bigotry that remains they have become a parody clumpany of Rangers which I have found much amusement from.
  18. We only went for 1:1 to satisfy Glasgow city council as changing the capacity would have been more of a problem. Building it from scratch could well be different so I wouldnt say 1:1 is the rule.
  19. Jabba getting his lunch paid for was a huge contractual mistake.
  20. Quite a star I have just seen on twitter: Lionel Messi has had a hand in 24 goals in his last 14 games in the Copa del Rey (14 goals and 10 assists).
