  1. How has the great Ross Meechan been received during his short time at Station Park?
  2. Hi lads! I interviewed erstwhile Livi winger Danny Denholm about his career. Although his time at Almondvale was underwhelming, his insight into how the club worked in the 2013/14 season is of interest and will be worth hearing. CLICK
  3. There is still room in the budget left to bring in a couple of players and a striker is the priority. There's talk of Andy Dallas returning on loan from Rangers. As for Jesus Garcia Tena, it's fair to say he wasn't at his best today. He was probably culpable for Partick Thistle's second goal (although it was a gorgeous finish from Shea Gordon) and there was a moment in the second half where he played a backpass straight to a Thistle player, despite looking over his shoulder and seeing the danger. Still, early days.
  4. Jesus Garcia Tena certainly has pedigree, but he wasn't too hot at Edinburgh City last season. Still, looking forward to seeing him in action. Sean Dickson has also returned to the club - brilliant to see him back at Stenny. Should never have been allowed to leave.
  5. I imagine Sean will be using the club's facilities for the meantime while he finds himself a team. I'm don't know if he's good enough to play in League 1 these days. Still, would be welcome to having him back at the club, smashing boy.
  6. I was up playing fives at Ochilview tonight and there were a couple of familiar faces at training, including Sean Dickson and Stefan McCluskey. I've no idea if they're joining the club or not.
  7. Regardless of your opinion of Scott McLaughlin as a player, that's a very stupid and unfunny thing to write online and you should think about deleting it.
  8. Alright lads, I hope you're all well. I recorded a podcast with erstwhile Ayr skipper Scott McLaughlin. We spoke with him back in 2015 but, by his own admission, he was "a bit cagey", so here's some full and frank discussion about his two spells with the club. I think you might find it of interest. CLICK
  9. Alright lads, hope you're all well and you're all pumped for the season ahead. I recorded a podcast with Scott McLaughlin, a popular and iconic figure at Cappielow, I'm sure you'll agree, and I think you'd be keen to hear it. CLICK This is all great fun but the stuff you'll be most keen on kicks in around 33 minutes. Good luck and God bless.
  10. "C. Muir" is correct, Mr Goals exclusively wore the #7 jersey last season. Regardless, good luck with the auction.
  11. Alright lads, I recorded a podcast with erstwhile Dundee striker Rory Loy. CLICK Some great insight into his time at Dens Park, the dynamic in the team and how he worked under Paul Hartley.
  12. Hello Falkirk FC fans. I recorded a podcast with Rory Loy, who talks very highly of his time at the club, from joining them in 2013 to missing out on the league title, to the Scottish Cup final appearance, to his return to the Bairns 12 months ago. I think you'll all enjoy it. You can listen to it HERE.
  13. The La's debut is one of the best albums of all time. Still sounds tight, fresh and bouncy now.
  14. We're a long way away from having a competitive squad for the season ahead, I'd reckon about four or five players. I am choking on a new signing. Is there anyone out there who hasn't signed for a club yet? Any big names?
  15. Could you delete some messages from your inbox so I can send you a PM please? Many thanks.
  16. Here's part two lads, crack on. A good 15-20 minutes or so about his second term at the Recs. CLICK
  17. Alright lads, I recorded a podcast with former Wasp Mark Docherty - CLICK The whole podcast is brilliant (if I do say so myself!) but there's tonnes of good stuff about his first two seasons at the club. He talks very highly about his time at the Recs. I think you might enjoy it.
  18. Here's his goal reel from last season. The strike against Elgin City is particularly glorious.
  19. Loved the boy. He'll go down as one of my all-time favourite players. I really hope he makes a success of himself at Ross County.
  20. Alright lads, here's a podcast with your big goalie Neil Parry - CLICK This is the second of two episodes and focuses on his time at Airdrie and with yourselves. Some good stuff in here, I think, that may interest you. All the best.
  21. Let's take a look at our squad for the season ahead: Goalkeepers: Lewis McMinn Buzz Smith Defenders: Ruaridh Donaldson Morgyn Neill Alan Reid Midfielders: Alan Cook Mark Ferry Kieran Gibbons Thomas Halleran Nicki Paterson Robbie Sinclair Strikers: Mark McGuigan Colin McMenamin
  22. Sorry to see the big man go - he was good for the Warriors over the course of last season and I loved the way he celebrated when scoring the two goals against Peterhead in the play-off final first leg - but I'm not sure if he was good enough to make the step back up into League 1. He could look a little rickety at times. I would have rather we held onto his brother, Ross, for the year ahead. It'll be interesting to see how Brown Ferguson pulls together his squad for the forthcoming campaign. It'll be a tough season, that's for sure.
