  1. Has he joined on loan? The Bo'ness Twitter account didn't mention it, while the Stenny website is garbage for updating supporters on transfers.
  2. He hasn't played much at all this season. He scored a cracking last-minute winner against Airdrieonians at the beginning of the campaign but hasn't had a look in since. He's pretty slight, he's wiry, and he's reasonably fast. I don't think he's good enough for the SPFL but I hope he does Bo'ness a turn.
  3. I like him. He's got arguably the best finisher in NXT with the End of Days.
  4. Just finished watching the show - it was a so-so episode (Elias "The Drifter" Sampson, I'm looking at you) but the ending was superb. Asuka's creepy as heck and the way she ran her fingers of the strap was pretty class. Looking forward to seeing how they take it forward. I'm also interested to see what they do with the Vaudevillians, that wee video's been teased for a couple of weeks now. Really like the pair of them.
  5. I don't mind Zack Ryder but the boy Mojo is a big gurning fool. I think I would have liked the pair of them if I was still an eight-year-old.
  6. Think it seems really harsh, doesn't big Titus do a heck of a lot of PR work for the WWE? He always seems to appear in front of children, soldiers etc.
  7. For those sticking to their morals and unprepared to fund quality journalism, here's the story:
  8. Good piece in the Sun from Kenny Millar about the decline and fall of Islam Feruz - CLICK.
  9. So we did, I forgot to count Matt Gould in there. No idea why I referred to Colin McCabe as "Colin McCrorie" either. It's been a tough day.
  10. That's a bit of a shame, he looked pretty decent in his couple of games with us. I don't think he even conceded a goal. Colin McCrorie, the boy we've signed on loan from Celtic on a 28-day deal really looks the part and he made some excellent saves in the weekend's loss to Dunfermline, so we seem covered in the position for the time being. We've used four goalies the season, I think this might be the most I've ever see playing for us in the one year.
  11. Did the three Shield lads not square off in a four-way alongside Randy Orton a while back? I'm pretty sure they gave him a triple powerbomb through the announcers' desk. The three of them shouldn't have fought against one another - only two at a time should have been paired up - because the thought of a triple-threat match between them doesn't seem as appealing. I would agree that all three have suffered because of poor booking. About a month or so after the split Ambrose was the hottest boy in the company but they turned him into a big goof, booby trapping the Money in the Bank suitcase, pitching up at the ring with a mannequin, and stealing a hotdog cart. He's decent fun just now but he's never been as big as he was then.
  12. Woke up early to watch this before work and I'm not ashamed to say I cried a little at the end. What a champion.
  13. Steve Owen was pretty class. I wouldn't have considered him a gangster because was a more rounded character than Andy Hill etc. The storyline between Steve, Matthew and Saskia was brilliant television. I'd disagree about Nick Cotton, he was good and the chemistry between him and his mum made their scenes together so worthwhile. June Brown's a pretty underrated actor in some respects - she seems to go through the motions these days but she can really step it up when she needs to.
  14. Women's wrestling can be brilliant and I was genuinely excited to see Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch promoted to the main roster but the way they botched the so-called Divas Revolution was a crying shame. The women separated into arbitrary teams for no reason and thrown together in longer matches without a point. Hey, gotta sell Total Divas somehow! The women's wrestling on NXT still continues to shine - there's fully formed characters, clear motivations and good matches there. Big fan of Emma, she's been brilliant fun over the last couple of months and Alexa Bliss is a superb heel.
  15. The gangsters have been roundly awful. Off the top of my head I remember Andy Hill, Jack Dalton and Johnny Allen, and they were all candy-asses. Throw in their associates like Dennis Rickman, Jake and Danny Moon and the like, and it's a pretty horrendous bunch. The only heels over the last couple of years who were any decent were Michael Moon and Derek Branning.
  16. The Bull-Fit stuff was pretty good - I enjoyed the little vignettes of him eating crisps and struggling to exercise - but when it came down to it, he wasn't too great in the ring, nor did he have much beyond the "Hey, I'm a little chubby!" schtick.
  17. A very good episode this evening. It hasn't been a great week but this was a satisfying way to round things off between Shabnam and Kush. Brilliant scenes when they were breaking up. Shabnam will be a big loss, the actor who plays her is a talent. As for Kush, well, he's not great but he handled the stillborn episode with grace and he did a very good turn this evening. There's at least six months in his run in with Martin Fowler and his relationship with Arthur. On a side note, I'm glad to see Jade leave. Since Bianca's ginger daughter left, there's been a void to fill but the wee girl who plays Jade is crap. Sounds like she's just reciting lines rather than delivering a performance.
  18. Not been a great year for Lesnar so far. Pumped out of the Rumble with no real pomp and reduced to a puppet by Triple H on Monday's Raw.
  19. Pumped to watch this tonight, especially to see Kevin Owens lose to a man who was pinned by Heath Slater a fortnight ago.
  20. I was there last night and thought it was pretty so-so. I don't think it necessarily translated well to the stage - it was telling that the best moment of the night was the video clip filmed outside the Armadillo towards the end. I enjoyed hearing the catchphrases and familiar punchlines but I think I was looking for a bit more than rehashed gags (and it didn't help that a few people in the crowd were shouting out the punchlines before they were delivered). Limmy's one of the best comedians in the country but his humour fits a very specific format; television, Vine and Twitter. Moving it to the live arena was a mis-step.
  21. Chad Gable's performance on last night's show >>>>>>>>>>
  22. Poor episode last night and a lot of it didn't make sense. If the Authority don't like Roman Reigns and don't want him to be the champion, then why do you keep giving him so many opportunities? The women's division looks like it's been split in two - the real wrestlers and the Total Divas. One was good, the other was bad. The section with the Rock was just dreadful. The bit where he spoke with the three cosplayers was pretty neat but the rest of it was dire - pretending he slept with Lana, calling the New Day's unicorn horns "llama penises", the Usos pitching up for an ambush. He can get the crowd eating out the palm of his hand, so fair play to him. I was hoping AJ Styles would get a nice clean win over Jericho, but that's just personal preference. Bo Dallas was the very best thing on the show. He made Flo Rida look like an absolute banger.
  23. Having heard about this boy's off-the-field antics, I wouldn't want him anywhere near Stenhousemuir, but then again I was pretty non-plussed when we signed Alan Lithgow; I guess you can't have it both ways.
  24. Graham Bowman, a goalkeeper, joins on loan from Falkirk for the remainder of the season. No idea if he's any good or not, but he sounds like a complete weapon off the park. This will put to bed any chat about Big Rab coming in.
  25. I think I remember reading a coupe of pages ago that Bowman's a bit of a nutter? What's the story there? And is he any good? Edited to add: I'm sure Bowman's been brought to the club as the #1. Jamie Barclay (one of your old boys) has been a catastrophe this season.
