  1. The thing that get me is: Speaking after the Dundee game, manager Gary Holt said: "I spoke to [referee] Bobby Madden and he said it was violent conduct for a push in the face. As far I am aware referees are not meant to dish out a card unless they're 100% sure an offence has been committed. Neither he or the linesman (who was miles ahead watching the ball) could have seen a push in the face and the only person who seems to be calling for it was the Dundee Manager Jim McIntyre who was jumping around like someone had been shot.
  2. The step-over sh1te really used to bug me; looked clever when it worked but, on the rare occasion the defender didn't stand his ground and knock the ball out, it succeeded in winding up the opposition who simply took the next opportunity to knock him on his ar5e. I remember Mullin used to get really upset with him on occasions.
  3. Berwick is exactly the make-or-break opportunity that Knox needs. They will give him the chance of a starting place; its up to him to grab it and keep hold of it. Playing every week in a settled side could be a huge boost for him.
  4. Thought Crane did really well in our game against Berwick in the Betfred Cup despite playing alongside a very shaky Saunders (and this was before he'd come up against Celtic). Nippy and good on the attacking break but quick enough to get back and defend when necessary. Lamie was mostly a central defender with Morton; actually the Morton fans said he was awful at left back but the quality of their other defenders probably meant that it was difficult to actually tell. When he's playing Lithgow also seems a let more settled. The fact that Halkett supported the rangers as a kid isn't an issue; the main one seems to be the rest of his family are regulars at ibrox and no-doubt will be bringing pressure to bare (or should that be bear?)
  5. Lamie is okay at Central defence but has really stood out on the left. Another alternative is to go to a flat four at the back I supposed with McMillan coming in at RB
  6. He played pretty well in the reserves as a trialist which is why we offered him a contract. Certainly one for the future and, by all accounts, is very keen to get some real game time. He came on for a few minutes in the goalless draw against Celtic and didn't look out of place but strangely hasn't even appeared on the bench since then as far as I can see. Saunders had appeared on the bench on a couple of occasions since then so I'm not sure if it was his doing that got the lad eased out but with Saunders moving on surely he should get a better opportunity? The last reserve game was 11th December and the next isnt until 28th Jan as far as I am aware.
  7. Frustratingly most of his yellow cards have been avoidable; either a needless tackle in the midfield or dissent.
  8. Difficult for him to get near the team. GHL are a stick on in every game. I imagine that he's there in case someone gets injured. Think Gallagher is one booking off a suspension.
  9. The last time Knox really impressed me was in a friendly against Stenhousemuir which was, I believe, the season before we went down to division one. All appearances since have failed to live up to expectations. Actually I though Ogilvie was better anyway.
  10. A bit more decorum please Atlis (even if I do agree with you 100%)
  11. It's been confirmed by Partick On our official site as well. Good news all around in my opinion. He wasn't up to the physicality or pace of the premiership and scared the cr@p out of me whenever he played. In the championship he'll get more time and work on his confidence. By all accounts he did well for TNS so there's a good player in there; it was his bad fortune that he was with a team with such a strong defence.
  12. Patrick Noubissie was an odd one; played for us as a trialist and did so well that we made him an offer but he chose to sign for Hibs. They let us have him back on loan and I thought "great" until I saw him; totally uninterested - played like the world owed him a living - we sent him back after eight games I think. As a trialist he showed like he had the talent to do really well - sure there's a moral there somewhere or maybe he was just a lazy b'stard.
  13. I did - corrected now - doh (a deer a female deer) - sorry - that time of the year.
  14. Hardie playing for us works for the rangers in as much as we could feasibly take points off their competition yet he's not allowed to play against them. Playing for them he'd be unlikely to get much more than a few minutes off the bench.
  15. Would you mind removing your reference to the Nazi atrocities please? I appreciate you're frustrated but don't really see the relationship with an event that murdered 11 million people including half of my relatives.

    Thanks

  16. We dont have the best history in this kind of thing... Remember the "I Bobby Barr" Or "Feed the Hippo" Or "In Hoppy we Trust" As soon as we do this sort of thing; the subject f#cks off.
  17. That's a rather "agricultural" comment there I blame Hassan Kachloul; wasn't he our business adviser at the time?
  18. Because its the international break and everyone's bored about talking about Brexit.... But the most telling point is... "Mr Bleksley makes a series of claims about Mr Wilson’s murder in a new book" However if the author was interested in justice rather than book sales surely the following wouldnt be the case? “Officers from the enquiry team have previously met and corresponded with Mr Bleksley, when he was invited to share any new information he has with us. To date, he has declined to do so. “Mr Bleksley and his publishing company also declined to provide an advance copy of his book to support Alistair Wilson’s family when approached by Police Scotland on their behalf.”
  19. He's going to get plenty of coverage anyway as the tabloids love a name that they make cheesy headlines that don't quite rhyme such as "Dolly Sorry" or "Offender Menga"
  20. Which is why Morelos got his red card against Aberdeen rescinded despite trying to scythe the boy down in retaliation? Actually; its been coming; for weeks as he's been on the receiving end of excessive "attention" from various defences purely because of the player he is i.e. gets involved and mixes things up. To be honest you can see he's been allowing himself to get wound-up by all the pushing and shoving, shirt grabbing and players climbing all over him. Sooner or later he was going to react. I suppose its a kind of back-handed compliment actually and he needs to take it as such. He's an exciting player, who will be a miss against the rangers, but he's not a striker and that's what we're missing at the moment
  21. The fuckin nick of this choad.... Apart from the fact that he keeps on going on about some team in Zambia; he also supposedly supports a team that employs Scott "elbows" Brown.
  22. Good news I suppose although you have to question whether it would really be in Celtic's best interest for Dolly Menga to receive a retrospective ban particularly seeing as who we're playing next and the fact that Dolly has a 100% record of scoring against them....
