  1. So how would the fixtures for a 13 team Premiership work?
  2. Thistle's is a mess, as usual; any mix of red & yellow is unlikely to look tidy. Meanwhile, Dundee's away strip is a thing of beauty. Wish it was ours.
  3. ? Why? Don't you agree that almost nobody other than the above -noted Arse cheeks & their arse-lickers want it ??
  4. And sadly, each time this has reared its ugly head on the BBC Sport website, there hasn't been a HYS comments section attached. Maybe if they added one, they'd get sufficient response to finally, finally understand the outright opposition to this from all but two clubs and their lackey journo pals.
  5. Agree with your summary C, other than "May" have been?? I'd happily wager colossal wedges of cash that the conversation - and vote - would've been radically different. Our 'football family', indeed.
  6. Not really an answer though, SW, but at least we agree the 11-1 voting structure isn't exactly reasonable. And Falkirk weren't in the Premiership at the time.
  7. Not disagreeing with your comments specifically, but genuinely - why should different issues need different levels of majority? And is 11-1 really a good bench-mark for decision making?
  8. He's a cnut of a man who, like the self-aggrandising Graham Spiers, is only concerned with two clubs in the country. Its impossible to read anything he writes without wishing him ill.
  9. "Null and void" would never have been a consideration for the SPFL because the Sellick wouldn't stand for it. Its that simple. Can you not imagine the furore they would've stirred up if it were even suggested that their fecking precious run to 10 was halted?
  10. Agree with the principle of this. End of season play-offs between the teams either side of a split - but carried through to each division - would give every league something to play for. We badly need some fresh energy...whenever it us we get the chance to use it.
  11. Yeah, can see your point, who knows how it would have played out, but overtaking both teams, not one, was a pretty unlikely scenario for you. League 1 was clearly the tightest at the top - in fact, up for grabs - and it would've caused a tsunami of tears and snotters (and different voting patterns), if ITC & Dundee, and Ayr, had been as comparably close to DU when everything was stopped. And no point even debating the top league, 'cause we all know what would have happened - and what most certainly WOULDN'T - if there had been a solitary point between the two bigots. Meantime, when's the reconstruction proposal for 2-10-10-10-10 going to the vote?
  12. Its all academic now, but Raith most certainly were in the equation. Falkirk were a point behind, with Raith at home still to come. Airdrie & Montrose may well have been 4 & 5 points respectively behind us, but were extremely unlikely to overtake BOTH Falkirk and Raith. Caley hadn't a snowball's chance of catching Utd. If you had been a point behind, with United still to come to Inverness, how would you see it? Still worrying about Ayr's misfortune?
  13. ...somehow reminds me of this atrocity. But still better than our latest shocker.
  14. Nothing will substantially change 'for the better of Scottish football' until the Sevco Taxes Dodgers and the Oirish Rovers are drowned in the sea. And take down their lackeys like The Doncaster, and media apologists like Tom (Colt teams good) English with them. Fecking cnuts, with their patronising Project Braveheart... Elite Academies... Colts... Tea-cake cups... All a load of bollocks. There's no permutation of the leagues that'll re-dress the imbalance of our loaded set-up. Ever-reducing competitive opportunity, arising from uneven distribution of resource, of funding, of support & of investment from on-high, means the best we'll likely get offered is survival, and told we should be grateful for it. Happy fecking days!
  15. Would be interested to know by what criteria Budge is yet again deemed most appropriate to oversee another round of reconstruction permutations. Get her TF.
  16. Don't mind the red away, as long as the shorts are navy blue. Would have preferred the away to be white top though. The home top is truely honking, and will be even worse if its paired with the dreaded navy blue shorts. No, no, no.
  17. Yeah, I did realise that.... But what the hey, its a fantasy team, so I've gone for total football, leave the opposition cloggers swinging at fresh air. Besides, who the hell could I possibly drop???
  18. McGovern Kennedy, Hughes, Gillespie, McQueen McAllister, Latapy, McWilliams Stainrod El Alagui Cadette McGivern, Stokes, Gary Smith, Alex Taylor, Parks... Moist.
  19. Many interesting points on Sportsound this afternoon, more deflection and 'he said she said' of course, but just what is it about effing Motherwell, that yet again the top flight has such a hard-on for them?? A cash bail-out arbitrarily because they didn't get an extra OF game?? Whit?? Where 's that clause in the articles of constitution?
  20. Pretty elitist attitude, there. If QoS or Inverness or St Johnstone win the cup why the hell shouldn't they get European football as a result? Its supposed to be an open competition, not only for the high and mighty. By your standards our crappy national side shouldn't even bother trying to qualify for Euro or World Cups. Some other 'diddy' team results to support your theory - a pretty mixed bag, for sure. Rangers 1-7 Eintracht; Rangers 1-4 Unirea Urziceni; Rangers 0-2 Neiderkorn Lincoln Imps 1-0 Celtic; Artmedia 5-0 Celtic; PSG 7-1 Celtic Hibs 0-7 Malmo; Aberdeen 1-5 Olomouc And yes, QoS lost1-2 and Falkirk lost 1-2 after extra time. But not really quite as diddy as the above shameful results. .
  21. You couldn't make this stuff up. Amazing behaviour if true. She was quoted previously as saying something about the "best thing for the game was to half the number of clubs" wasn't she?
  22. Really. Not when the SPFL announced they wanted every club's response by 5pm Friday. Looks a lot like manipulation now. Why didn't Doncaster simply come out and state quite clearly that there was a 28 day period?
